I like turtles.

I kind of agree but I'd say they're at least throwing a few bones to Zelda and Mario here and there.

Same. I'm thinking I really need to adapt and expand my interest more beyond nintendo going forward. They're just doing less and less that I like. How can I be a big nintendo fan if I don't like smash, or animal crossing, or starfox, or multiplayer? I like zelda, metroid, and most big mario games. That's just so little of what they're about now.

Yeah I dunno. I don't even play Smash Bros. much on my own anymore, and if they keep making mobile versions of it there's not much point to buy Nintendo's next console even for me.

star fox definitely looks weak though ... but the only great game in that series is sf64 anyway, i'm not sure star fox is really a good series at all

I'm going to spend the money I saved up for Xenoblade on Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 . Just need to decide whether I'll get the japanee or european version.

Should I ever be rich enough I'll get a jap Wii U with the proper game. Not gonna support Noa/Es shenanigans with the game lol

i guess i don't know what you mean about noa/es shenanigans ... i mean i'd like to hear the jap voice acting too, but it's not THAT big of a deal. the english voice acting is actually good

I just did those steps to get all the green credits on trilogy wiiu ver. I now have all 15 green credits but my progress is down to zero and I lost all of my other credits. I wish I had known about this BEFORE I played all the way through Prime. I can't believe they just didn't replace all the friend vouchers with green credits and remove the trading requirement given that it's not possible to trade.

It's not just the voice acting. They're censoring stuff that's in literally every other JRPG that came to the west, and have hired a company that's credited for just rewriting scripts when they don't agree with the source material. It's bonkers.

Sure I'd play the game if didn't know japanese, but since I have the option - or rather SHOULD have the option - I'm not going to take the inefrior choice here.

To be honest, I've been wondering why I was so fucking stupid and got a european Wii U all year long. I should have known a jap. console would be the way to go for Xenoblade

The example of the translators having changed text was from FE Awakening. So it seems more likely that NoA edited their script. That's even worse lol.

wasn't fe awakening extremely well received in the west? i haven't played it, but i've never heard of any problems with the localization ... that's widely considered the best fe game ever

There were some screens floating around for XCX, taken with a camera, of alleged NoA censored versions of a skimpy 13 year old girl's costume. But there was no real evidence it was actually the same costume. Besides, the 'censored' version looked way better.
