I really hate the parts where you have to avoid Ghirahim from grabbing your sword.  I know what they want me to do but it doesn't work very well.
Is this your first time playing? I did the jumping on the Imprisoned's head thing too eventually. Thought it was something everyone would figure out on their own. But then I played the game 3 times in a row so maybe I only learned thagt trick on my second or third playthrough.
No I think this is my 5th playthrough.  I played it a few times in a row when it was new, then once or twice inbetween.  I know you can get on his head when launched by the groosenator in the 3rd fight, but I never thought to try getting on his head by jumping from a higher tier.  I was too busy running between his feet trying to get slashes in before the shock wave knocked me back.

In other news - why the hell does the wiiu power save feature not deactivate when you're downloading?  That's stupid.  The 3ds does.

Doesn#t that feature only affect the controller?
No my console shut down too.
Oh that's not what I was thinking of. Thought you were talking about the feature that changes the look of the gamepad picture slightly. I think it's also a power-save setting
Dood Trigger™
Fatal Frame 2 twin dolls... Nope. No, thank you! One of them appeared near a save point in the house. It didn't move, it didn't trigger the heart beat effect, it just... appeared when the camera angle changed. Those are the moments, man. Scared the crap out of me.
Has anyone been playing Triforce Heroes?  How is it?
red chamber dream

Lies - you could have been playing it since 10pm our time lastnight.
red chamber dream

The reviews so far are mixed, but most of the criticism is related to the single player mode.  :(
red chamber dream
really? i've heard it can be tough to manage, but i've never minded that in the multiplayer zelda games. i think i'm going to love it ... i enjoy that type of puzzle solving
red chamber dream
i mean surely it's more fun than playing with other people, which is never what i want to do
Really?  I thought you would have gotten it for the multiplayer.
The multiplayer looks like it might be a lot of fun, actually.  I keep imagining it to be full of trolls and people who suck, but if you had good people on our team then it looks like a blast.
red chamber dream
naw, i don't like multiplayer games
I say that a lot too but I haven't played them very much because the few times I tried it I had a bad experience:  PH always had people disconnecting right before they lost the match so you don't get your prize, and HoD just had people with skill levels that were far too varied.  That's not a lot of experience for me to judge multiplayer in general.  I should have tried it on the demo when servers were up last weekend.
red chamber dream
well, i mean, that's a good enough reason not to like them to me lol
red chamber dream
i just don't like relying on other people to get enjoyment out of games ... it's always disappointing
You're just too good to play with the mortals.  I get it.

j/k btw.

I shouldn't be thinking about Triforce Heroes right now.  I got Yoshi's Woolly Crotch and I haven't even sniffed it yet.
red chamber dream
ooh i want to play that game, but i'm waiting on a price drop. got triforce heroes in the mean time though, gonna bust that out tonight
Club 27 Goals
went to a halloween party last night and we all got ARK: Survival Evolved. Pretty awesome game actually. Feels good banding together, hunting dinos, taming dinos, riding dinos, scavenging other people's camps, and building stuff.
Not impossible
just highly unlikely
So I'm further into Zestiria and it's still pretty rad, but god damn did they over complicate the equipment system.

So each peice of gear has four slots for potential bonus effects. Each type of effect has an icon associated with it, and when you have that item equipped that icon goes on a grid. Those icons will boost your effects depending on how the icons interact with each other. So some you have to create a row of stacked on top of each other, others just need to be sitting beside each other. The placement on the grid is dependent on what type of icon it is and, I think, what element it's associated with. And maybe some other stuff, I have no idea. It's confusing as shit. I'm completely ignoring the whole thing and doing fine.

You can fuse two of the same items together to increase base stats and combine skills, so I guess if you really wanted to get into it there's a lot of potential for crazy min-maxing stuff, but I want nothing to do with it.
