My copy is digital. I did shut it down and open it back up a couple of times but still got the same message. I read that the usual cause is shutting the 3ds down while it's still saving, but I don't remember ever doing that.

Does the game save on SD card? If so, try reinserting that one.

Removing the SD card on the new 3ds involves removing screws to open the dang thing up. Besides, I already deleted it.

so i got kinda drunk and got a hack for the final fantasy MMO ive been playing and well - i got caught by a GM and teleported to a small room where i couldnt run away and he had me sit and shat to him for a little bit about what i did.

and now im banned for 48 hours FUCK

dude yeah I wish I recorded it cause it was pretty funny to me. i asked him why he was punishing me instead of the bots that were ruining the economy and selling gil for real money and he actually talked to me about that and discussed how theyre fighting it at the source and assured me theyre taking much more drastic measures and harsher punishments against those people. we talked before this about how and why i was using the hack (it was just a teleport hack) and i admited it was purely because I was lazy and didn't want to keep running around, but apparently I set off red flags teleporting so much.

Playing Borderlands 2 on PS4 courtesy of the Handsome Collection. It seems like there was pretty much no effort given to making it prettier on PS4, I think they just increased the resolution a bit and called it a day. But that's okay, it looks nice enough. It's fun as hell so far, in my opinion everything from the first game has been improved upon. I'm playing as Zero (or Zer0 I guess) both because I played Mordecai in the first and because how could you not be Zero after that into? I do miss Bloodwing, but the new invisibility power is fun to play with.

Haven't been to work in a week due to surgery recovery so you would think I'd have been doing tons of gaming but I've been kind of miserable so not so much. I did do a 100% OoT Master Quest playthrough, and I started PoP Sands of Time but got stuck in a place where I never had any problems before. I just don't have the patience for it right now. My doctor gave me totally ineffective pain medicine and a whole bottle of valium. Fuck valium. I don't want to sleep, I want to be awake and feeling fine!

so, SOMA was pretty good. The story was good, but kinda forced. The puzzles were basic but still interesting. And it looked nice.

Kinda cool if you liked Amnesia but wanted it to be sci-fi instead

Spent the day at my moms, and picked up New Super Mario brothers. Figured it'd be a good game for the ages 6-10.

They had some Skyland erst game at gamestop, and just the game alone is $75, what the hell?

I'm not sure how much credit I'd give them as standalone games for doing anything terribly unique or new, but they were definitely a lot of fun to play through in co-op. The only NSMB I really didn't care for or find memorable at all is 2.

That's definitely true, I just think NSMB2 stands out as egregiously uninspired. Like, sometimes I forget it even exists, such was the impression it failed to leave. I'm still waiting for a game on the order of SMW that has a fully-connected world map, a power up as broken/awesome/fun as the Feather, and more levels with secret exits than not that cut obscene shortcuts through the intended sequence. So far they've all been spiritual successors to SMB3 more than any other entry.
