but the fact that when you come back and get it for the first time though

it's like your muscles work on it while you're away from the game or something
I like turtles.
When I was a kid I thought it was kind of odd but whenever the topic comes up, it seems like everyone has this experience.  I too would be interested to know what's up with it.

You don't learn from your mistakes as well when you're on edge.

Heck, I don't even acknowledge that I'm making mistakes when I get that angry.  It's the game's fault!

To be fair, even in a game where every mistake is your fault, it could still be the game's fault that you're having a poor experience because of it, i.e., its failure conditions or consequences are badly designed.

3DS eShop purchases all come with save states.  ;)
Finally started playing Bayo 2 even though I bought it when it was new.  I can't tell if it's easier than Bayo 1 or if I'm just better at fighting as Bayo.  I'm on chapter 8 and have successfully beaten every alfheim (or whatever they're called in 2) along the way without any problems.  In the first Bayo I had to come back to those after beating the game once.  I also seem to not be having any problems doing dodge offset this time around.

Does anyone know if a halo jackpot trick has been found in Bayo 2 like the one in Bayo 1?  I sure don't feel like saving up millions of halos.

You need to turn the difficulty up for Bayo 2. Normal is way easier than normal in Bayo 1, and climax (or hard?) is about the same as normal in Bayo 1.

...No. I think the difficulties in Bayo 2 were labeled first, second and third climax? You need to play on the third for a challenge.
Not impossible
just highly unlikely
The best halo farming method in Bayo 2 is still I believe going to chapter 14 and doing P P P(hold) on everything. On infinite climax with the gaze of despair and bracelet of time you can have 2 million+ halos by the end of the stage, but even without all that stuff it's a good payout.

And yes, Bayo 2 is unquestionably easier than 1, especially the alfheims. Some of it is due to just having more polish but a bit is certainly due to the designers taking it easier on the player.
Dang and I was hoping I was just good at it now.

Well, that's not to say you aren't. The basic mechanics are still the same so your skill from Bayo 1 will absolutely carry over.

And it's still not walk in the park easy. Just easiER.

So weird to open up the Google play store and see an official pokemon game on the front page.
It seems like they added a few frames to the dodge window and the enemies are slightly less aggressive.
Dood Trigger™
Bayo 2 is easier overall, but the higher modes won't be a walk in the park. Infinite Climax bosses are even more aggressive than the ones from Bayo 1. You literally can't touch them outside of Witch Time.

Best Halo farming method is in the Prologue with the big hammer's charge attack. Make sure you don't drop the combo for the first Verse and you get 1.2 million every 2 minutes or so. There's probably a video on YT explaining the trick but I can't access it right now.

I've been revisiting the Silent Hill series these past couple of weeks. Beat SH1-3 and I'm starting 4 today. I will play all of them except Shattered Memories, because I don't feel like setting up the Wii and I played that one recently anyway.

I can never decide my favorite between 1, 2 and 3. SH3 is the most fun gameplay-wise, while 2 has the best story and 1 is still the scariest, blocky PS1 graphics and everything. To me those are their greatest strengths, although that's not to say they don't deliver where the other excels.

Thought I'd remember less of these games considering how long it's been, but I guess I've played so much of them in the past that it's hard to make them feel fresh again. It's no big deal, though, I'm having a great time.
Plague of Shadows release date is out - 9/17
Finished Bayo2 without feeling much desire to go back for more like I did on Bayo1.  I wanted to play M&L Partners in Time on wiiU but then I realized that the setup for DS games on WiiU gamepad was terribly small, so I opted for Bowser's Inside Story on my 3DS since I have a cart for that.  I played it years ago, and remember it being a pretty decent game.  It can feel complicated conceptually in some ways because it is, but that type of challenge is much more fun than anything that tests my ability to change the function of the A/B buttons rapidly.  I'm about 8 hours in and having a good time.

I didn't dig Bayo 2 as much as the first game either.

Played a lot of SM Maker with friends last night. It was a blast. We mostly played random stages, but even that was fun. Although most stages were shit of course. It's almost always complete nonsense where you just have to run straight, or some sort of Kaizo Mario inspired challenge stage. Personally I really enjoyed playing the challenging ones (which my friends all hated).
Now I'm thinking of plundering my savings. I wash Atlus would finally announce a release date for Persona 5. If it's delayed to 2016 I know I could put my money down on Mario Maker. >_>

Apparently they'll be announcing the release date at TGS but it's confirmed to be within this year.

EDIT: Nevermind, that's all just speculation. I should check my sources more carefully. It will be shown at TGS though so there is a possibility of getting a date.
I gave in and bought Mario Maker

Gotta say, the starting selection of enemies just plain sucks. I mad ea little metroidy course, and it ended up somewhat sterile with the saim enemies over and over because I couldn't choose from many more. In case anyone who reads this got the game: AD1B 0000 0038 7DC7
Yeah so Animal Crossing hasn't been my fav game ever, but I've still played it many times and have added lots of stuff, then today I boot it up and am told 'Save Data Corrupted' and am given the option to either delete the save data or fuck off.  Wth?
Damn that sucks...

Club 27 Goals
I've only heard of that once before, and it was fixed by taking it out and putting it back in

Although my buddy might have gotten lucky. I Googled a bit and it seems that it fixed it for other people too
