Been playing a lot of NES lately, mostly childhood games I've been meaning to replay. Plus some stuff I only got to try recently.
I beat Zelda 2 again, this time without a guide! Felt pretty good. That was only the second time I beat this. I still suck at the final palace or whatever it's called, but I made it. This game is really fun when I'm not banging my head against the wall with the cryptic stuff.
poision sounds like you're right on and that guy doesn't know what he's talking about. from everything i've heard about the game, the combat is super complex and interesting, and the game is fucking huge
It reminds me of this guy who was saying Shadow of Mordor sucks because the combat system (which is basically Arkham combat) allowed him to win fights even with the monitor turned off. Except he was on the easiest difficulty with a fully levelled end game character fighting a mob of basic enemies without a chieftain, which are the main focus of the game, and the combat is designed to be rythmic. You can prove anything you want if you tip the scales that much.
yeah the thing that was justified was the complaint about movement, however even before the patch fixing it it seems like he took it way out of hand. It definitely was a little clunky and felt liek you were trying to drive a tank, but it never was frustrating to that extent.
Pretty sure it was just youtube-click-bait controversy-vid hating on something popular #179
Eh, sites like that only ever got big because people got sick of shills at IGN and GameSpot writing a bunch of disingenuous reviews to keep developers and publishers from pulling ads.
people get wayyyy too caught up in review scores, which don't matter at all ... actually read what's written in the review and you might be able to determine whether you'll like the game
