It's a good thing I have a guide for Lament of Innocence.  I played it for about 6 hours before looking in the guide, and I never would have found the places I need to go without it.  You kind of have to run around every room and jump, and then at the height of the jump you get a peek to see if there's any little overhangs or places to whip up to.  These places don't show up on the map, so jumping everywhere would be the only way to find them.  Having to jump all over tons of rooms just to find these places kind of makes this a crappy game  :(

has anyone played witcher 3 and is it worth playing?

All I needed is this "review" to know the game is for me or not.
And you probably know my answer:P

btw. npcs are better in Gothic1/2

I love how he plays on the easiest difficulty then criticise's the combat for being bland and boring. What a joke.
Club 27 Goals
That's like playing skyrim on the easiest difficulty and only using two handed swords and complaining that all you do is swing a big sword. Did he even try magic in the ten hours he played? Doubt it
red chamber dream
well, it's jsnake lol

Not Far Cry 0/10

But yeah, Wild Hunt is balling.

Although you should wait a couple days until patch 1.07 comes out. They're making a lot of inventory and movement system improvements that I wish I would have had from the beginning.

i'm wondering if i'm even gonna have time for it. have to finish dishonored, then it's persona 4. not sure i can do another 80 hour rpg before fallout comes out ...

Dishonored isn't extremely long, but p4 is 40+ hours for sure.
Club 27 Goals
Depends on if you get into p4 really. I mean it was cool I just didn't get into the story at all or the date sim aspect. Kinda bored me with it
red chamber dream
that's the part i'm looking forward to but i've admittedly never played a persona game

You like high school anime and Pokemon. There's no way you won't like p4.

i can't wait :D

He is not the brightest player but difficulty settings aren't really the solution to the problem here.

Just you wait, it gets even better here:

They fixed the controls, which was the only thing. He really had an argument for.

His argument that the combat was too bland and all you do is swing your sword over and over. If he was playing on a harder difficulty, he would be punished for playing that way. He would have to know how to at least roll or block or parry or at the very least spice it up with magic. In that video where he's showing off the combat and how "bad" it is, he's overleveled compared to the enemies he's facing as well as playing it on the easiest difficulty.

also he shows the "size" of the map and he's horribly wrong. It's painfully obvious he did not put more than 10 hours into the game like he claims, or if he did, it was spent doing fuck-all but picking berries.

Witcher 3's map was measured to be 3.5 times the size of skyrim. That "map" that he shows off in that video is the bottom right square in this world map (The White Orchard square), which isn't to scale of the full map on this image

and if you don't believe me, here's a full interactive map (it's split into three different areas)

Jsnake, you're severely missing out if you're basing your opinions on a guy who doesn't even delve into the basics of a game and gives up that early. I know you won't reason with any of my posts or give it a chance because you've already built up your wall of opinions, but I hope in the future you look more into something before jumpnig to conclusions.
That reviewer acts like everyone is looking for the same thing in a game so if he doesn't like the game then it must suck.  I have to say, that game looks like it would bore the shit out of me like skyrim did, but that doesn't automatically mean the game sucks.  Some people like that kind of stuff.  I don't.

Just ignore Jsnake. He gets off on being a contrarian.

Thanks for your input, it is not that I am a contrarian for the sake of it. I have made my experience with the mechanics in Witcher 2, and I see the overall trends with the games, if that qualifies an educated guess. The fact that they had to fix controls shows that there is something inherently immature with the system in the first place. There can't be a mature fix to the problem since the whole game was already build around the controls which existed. That should explain why I am so critical.

Started playing Mega Man9. I haven't touched the game in years, and it shows! It's balls hard, I just keep dying and hitting the continue option over and over.
