One shall stand, one shall ball.
The weirdest thing about all that is that console architecture is now fairly similar to PCs these days iirc so it should really hard to fuck up! I mean presumable it was outsourced to a company that has worked on PC games before.

yeah and i mean, the xbone is literally just windows

Iron Galaxy did the PC port. They also did the PC port of Arkham Origins and the Vita port of Borderlands 2.

So these guys are really shitty at ports.
red chamber dream
oh wow yeah, both of those were notably terrible iirc
One shall stand, one shall ball.
To be fair if the Arkham Origins port was a mess it probably wasn't their fault. :v

They've worked on and assisted for some pretty high profile stuff so I guess that's why they keep getting work.

Real talk though the challenges were not that hard, 100%-ing those games was actually pretty quick.

It's not about difficulty for me, I just lose interest in challenge modes very quickly in any game. I dunno what it is, I just can't be bothered to finish.

The challenges always felt to me like filler meant to keep me from 100% rather than fun content I would enjoy on the way there.  I feel like it's because they were so segregated and irrelevant to the main game.  AK averts that nicely so far, with a lot of the optional stuff going toward upgrade points at least.

Really loving Terraria 1.3.  Most of the new difficulty mode is actually pretty well-balanced (like, actual balance instead of "make everything a chore to progress through"), lots of new content, and the degree of polish it's reached at this point is simply leagues ahead of most major video game releases - like, for any system ever.
Hey what was the name of that vampire game that someone was playing a while back?  I think it was a PS2 game and there was a first game and one sequel.
red chamber dream
do you mean soul reaver? the first one was on ps1 and dreamcast, but the second was a ps2 game yeah
Yeah that's it.  Dang, only SR2 is available for download.
Is it Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver?

that's it. the overall series is called legacy of kain. before the soul reaver games the was blood omen: legacy of kain which i sadly also haven't played
I think I'm gonna run by the retro store and see if they have SR on PSX.  I'm in a gaming slump.  I've started playing like 5 different games in the past couple days and couldn't get into any of them.  I'm jonesin' pretty hard at this point.
red chamber dream
i think you might like them. they're story-heavy and have a cool gothic feel, definitely unlike any other games that came out at the time
Success!  Gotta love Game Force.

So I'm almost done with Arkham Knight and if your name isn't arkarian ( Wink ) and you haven't played this yet it's probably worth your time.  So good.  And I'm saying that playing it on PC.

so I caved and bought Elite: Dangerous since it's on sale on steam. I looked in my steam inventory and apparently I had some skins in CS:GO that were worth over $70 a pop, so I got $150 in my steam wallet and blew it on Elite Dangerous and a few other games I had my eye on (read: MMO garbage).

What PC specs do you have?

GeForce GTX 970, 8GB RAM, was running 1080p.  The framerate ranged from tolerable to crappy.

At least it's not a capped 30 on consoles÷

970 is beast though, I almost caved to get it but I'm gonna wait for the 980Ti, but still, shots cray
