seems like a bunch of companies are doing that now though. Hire some meme loving teens who have nothing better to do and just reply with oh-so-whacky replies.

Like Wendy's official facebook page and Denny's twitter, etc.
red chamber dream
yeah it seems like a good strategy
I like turtles.
I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it more than "typical" social media strategies.  Like, a sense of humor and a willingness to be just a little flippant goes a long way toward convincing me that you have a soul.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Hiring people that actually get the internet is the smartest thing these companies could be doing. Took them long enough.
Woah LoS ending was not what I expected, which is a good thing.  I took Zobek literally when he said I would face Death, but no grim reaper fight :(.  I didn't expect lucifer though.  The battle was way too easy.

I gotta get the DLC because I have to see Gabriel become Dracula.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Motherfucker named Gabriel becoming Dracula is a travesty.
Isn't it funny how simply showing a cross in a video game was controversial not long ago?
One shall stand, one shall ball.
I don't know if it was controversial so much as it was Nintendo being weird.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Those are boomerangs not crosses even if they look exactly like crosses and nothing like boomerangs!

I remember playing Link to the Past and thinking it was scary and weird as hell that were were full on zombie skeleton things hanging off the walls.

I have no idea if it was actually as vivid and scary in the game or if it's just my imagination. Can't seem to find screenshots of them though.

okay, yeah I mean, I guess it wasn't as weird as I remember, but I remember thinking about how it must have sucked to have died like that and rotted stuck in those vines and stuff. or maybe I'm thinking of a different part, idunno

PLaying the Reverie DLC.  'Dr. Frankenstein built a time machine but it could only be used for brief periods of time."  That sounds like a pretty shitty time machine, imo.
Jesus, The Forgotten One was a total bitch.
I'm finding myself trying to like LoS2.  The premise is kind of ridiculous.  I do prefer the classic gothic horror that CV has done so well all this time, and I'm doing a lot of eye-rolling during the present-setting areas. More importantly, I'm finding the controls are not as tight and it's difficult to see important things in the environment.  I've died more times in the first few hours of this game than all of LoS, but none of the deaths have been in combat.  Rather, it's the trial and error of testing the environment.  And whose idea was it to make the other rats in your pack get in the way of the rat you're controlling?  Awful.

Not giving up just yet, though.  I need to try to get into this game.  My sweetie doesn't know I forked out the cash for this game.  He thinks I'm still playing LoS1 and he knows I wouldn't just put that one down.  I'm terrible!

Yeah, in my opinion combat improves a lot in LoS2, but level design takes a sharp decline. Like, right off a cliff.

Marathon stuff:

Day 10 - TMNT3. I'm partial to Turtles in Time, because it is goddamn Turtles in Time. But I *love* this game. The presentation in general, gameplay, it's all really sweet. Lots of strategy in the special moves. And coming from Double Dragon 2, this game is just so much more forgiving. I also played TMNT2 after that because I was so hyped. TMNT2 is as sweet as I remembered, but very repetitive in comparison (even by beat-'em-up standards).

Day 11 - Contra Rebirth. I only picked this 'cause I was curious to play it coming from Shattered Soldier. And damn, SS mops the floor with this. So many things on screen at once, barebones level design and powers. SS is actually much harder, but also more fair. Funny how that happens.

Day 12 - The Magical Quest. Another extremely easy and fun Capcom-Disney classic. Cool game but I prefer the NES ones for the most part.

Day 13 - Castlevania. Just a quick run 'cause I didn't have much time. Choked at the hallway of doom but I clutched it out after that with Cross x3 and only one hit from dying.

Had one of the most profound experiences with a friend in Tera.

He hasn't played an MMO much due to time but he graduated, so we start up Tera. He went to the bathroom and I made a shitty character for him on a shitty role play server.

We explored the nooby area and some dude said in chat the he was giving away 200gold to whoever can find him (the game has a gold/silver/copper system so 200gold is a lot). We just dick around and eventually found the guy and he gave us 500 gold, which in this game is quite a bit.

We explored some more and then people were begging him for gold in the area chat, and he told them that he would sell them some "jade heart" item for 500g instead. They didn't have enough, but we did! So we messaged him again and got the item, having no idea what it was. Turns out it's a fuckinf BADASS dragon mount that's work like 2,000gold.

Problem is he used it on his shitty character, so he's torn between playing his real character or this stupid one with a god damn amazing mount. I drew a picture and sent it in as a ticket to a GM asking to have the mount transferes.

Playing Metroid Prime. The triple bomb jump into blast furnace or whatever it was called took me forever to figure out how actually fit into the whole. Just getting up the spider ball track wasn't hard in comparison. :/

At least I made it. I was already considering giving up and playing s.t. else instead

If that's the part I think you're talking about, I usually just morph and literally hold up on the control stick. More often than not, Samus will roll into the hole automatically, even if she just keeps spinning there for a few seconds and it doesn't look like she's gonna move.
Yeah it's possible I didn't do that - holding the stick up. :/

FINALLY beat Witcher 3. Got a pretty good ending, but not the "best" ending, which from what I know of it, I question if it's really the best...

Anyway, great game from start to finish. I might end up getting the DLC packs after all.

But I'm the meantime, back to Borderlands.
Almost happy

So I take it Ciri ended up not becoming the Empress? I got the ending where she did become the empress which I guess is technically the best one but it's pretty bittersweet. I think the "bad" ending is the most well made one though.

No, she became empress in mine. People say the best ending is the one where Novigrad loses the war so Ciri stays with Geralt. Which, I mean, that's great for Geralt and everything, but doesn't that mean Radovid rules the kingdom? That's not good for anybody. So yeah, I'm happy with my ending.
