Do you have typos on your work often?
Yes (7)
No (11)
Should we have this thing where if you type a common typo, it fixes it?  Doesn't phpBB support it?  Such things like "teh" for "the" and "noe" for "one."  There's a lot more, too.

It could work via the censor filter. But I don't see a lot of those mistakes floating around, so I don't see a big need.
Well, I type teh alot, so...I messed up on teh...AHHHHH!

I don't want "teh" to be corrected, sometimes I actually misspell it on purpose ^__^
I voted yes. But it should really only be implemented IF you could make typos if you really wanted to. Like if you typed *teh* or "teh" then it should NOT be corrected. You get the idea :P

A general spellcheck would be nice (don't kick me if there's already one of those 'cause I haven't seen it). I know www.csnation.net have it. Quite good actually.
Well, when we purposly want to put it that way, put stars or something around it... :P

Is there a spellcheck hack? That would probably work better than the filter thing.
I don't think so...I saw that trial admin control panel, and I don't recall that-but I sure wish it was here! :D
I make a lot of typos, but I fix them before I post. Thsi baord deosnt ned any chngeingAHHHHHHH METROID! GET OFF!
Whenever I see teh on forums, I assume it's on purpose.  Writing teh roxor.

It isn't from me!
i tipe parfactly fune...

That's a yes in case your wondering...
I wonder if it's possible to make such a thing optional?
If something would be implemented, i think when you try to post, it should bring up the post screen again and then say "you made a typo  X X X X X X and X" would you like to continue?

I make typo's often, I'm also usually in a big hurry to post for whatever reason (habit from AIM, and IRC i suppose) which is why over 50% of my posts have to be edited for typo reasons.

don't make it too anal though, i know i don't capitalize 95% of my sentences, though it might help me to start doing that soon.

Well, me and Nate decided that spelling mistakes aren't a huge problem here and it's not worth the trouble implimenting something to correct the few that occur. So, no spell check, sorry.
Yeah, doesn't seem like a problem to me either. I can read 99% of posts made on this board, which is the best I'd hope for anywhere on the internet. Not like GameFAQs. GameFAQs needs to have MANDATORY spellcheck.

Never go to Nick.com's boards.  It's EXACTLY the opposite.  You have to look around for a coherent post.

Yeah GF seriously need one. But they already have a good one. Really good imho.
There's this thing... A button called EDIT You can use it to fix your posts...

I think relying on a spellchecker to fix our sloppy writing will only make us lazy when it comes to proof reading. Not a good idea :P
