I've noticed this for about a week now, but why is it that the forum no longer displays attached image files as smaller pictures that you enlarge by clicking on them? Now you have to click the actual file to open it in a temporary folder on your computer, and it was easier when the image was just there for you to look at and then continue scrolling the page.

fixed the attachment problem. had to do with the thumbnail system. so no more image thumbnails. but topics shouldn't get "cursed" any more either. let me know if there are any further problems. thanks.

Nate removed that function because it was screwing up some topics.

Firefox thinks it's still running, so it won't let me open a new window, and Internet Explorer has too many problems (including lack of downloading stuff).

Have you at least tried to simply reinstall Firefox? Also try pressing ctrl+alt+delete and check if Firefox is still running as a process.
There's some kind of ... whatever - you can use in windows to delete installed programs. If you know what I mean you can head straight there and try to remove Firefox, since it should be listed in there.
I could give a more detailed explanation if I knew windows's english terms, but unfortunatly I don't.
