The number of posts can still be seen in your profile.
Why was it removed anyways? I don't recall the post count ever causing any problems.
It's because many people tend to try posting as much as possible in order to raise their post count, mostly ignoring any kind of constructivity.

Quality, not quantity.

not really an issue, but the general metroid board was moved under the hacks and fan games.
now, whenever i go to hacks and fan games, i click on the general metroid.
i dont like new things

That confused me too, don't feel too bad.

I was trying to figure out why so many general metroid topics were on the Fusion board.

Yeah that's been recently discussed. I disagree about this move, but not enough to really care, so meh. You're gonna get used to it.

I actually kind of like it, General Metroid in the Metroid section makes sense.

They're also renaming the Metroid Gaming fora to the Metroid fora so that it fits the description. >_>

Well maybe...
Please don't think "not him again". I've noticed this sometimes and just now that when I click to enter some thread I'll end up in another. This happened also when I wanted to switch page in the same thread. I'm using IE by the way.

Has anyone else experienced this? Sounds very strange.

It happened just before this post and it's not the first time. This time I saw the latest pos in super metroid section don't remember who the user was but I clicked under it where it said "metroid myths" and I ended up in a thread where I had the latest post. Mostly it's in the same main category and this time I now I didn't click somewhere else because I would end up in the users profile. At least 5 times it happened to me. No big deal but somnething you should know about. The swedish forum where I hang around have had several problems with IE so I'm not surprised.

edit4: Never mind

Never mind what?

I'm guessing he had edits there before but edited it again to cancel those edits.

So you clicked the Metroid Myths thread, and ended up in a different thread? Is the different thread in the same section as the myths thread? Are you clicking on the icon to take you to the last post, or on the title of the thread? Can you tell if the link you're clicking on corresponds to the address of the right thread, or is it getting redirected as you open the page? Does it finish loading the entire page? Could you possibly be touching any other buttons by accident? Does your mouse have multiple buttons, one being a Go Back One Page button by default?

Huh, that raises more questions than I thought it did at first glance.
Yes I had edits before and it was about social topic. From the main site I read "reading vs video games" as latest post in the boardwalk and couldn't find the thread but I've got the answer already in the social topic
I wanted to mention that for a month or two now, I have been unable to view any youtube videos linked on the forum from multiple computers using Firefox 3.0 on Windows XP. The  tags do appear in the HTML source of the messages, but the area where the video should be embedded simply remains blank. If I copy and paste the URL of the video from the source into the browser bar, it appears and plays normally, albeit taking up an entire tab.

I don't know if this is the forum's fault, youtube's fault, or flash's fault, but it sure is annoying :(

I've had the same problem too, but I just got used to it.

I use the same things and it's fine for me. Try updating Flash or something I guess.
It's Firefox that is to blame. Between that, broken tooltips, and the propensity for the newest version to slow my machine to a crawl as it searches for and executes MB's of uncached Chrome JavaScript code, I've had it with that browser. I have switched to Opera and the videos work fine in it (they both appear as they should, and do not grind to a halt every 1-2 minutes). So I'm good.

I've been using Firefox for years now and I've not once had a problem with this forum.  Neutral
And my computer is pretty crappy.
...
I use Internet Explorer and it works fine for me.
What exactly is a 'stickified' thread ?
