No, it's not that he can't, it is the fact that he did. The video on Youtube he posted with 36 mins shows him shooting through the gate. I just want to know why I can get so close but fail.

I guess I am seeing things or something. I watched the video then recalled something being in his 12 min. I could swear I seen it happen... The 12 min he just used a missle.

He also did a diagonal jump shot as well.

He did, however, in the 100%, demonstrate the abusiveness of horizontally firing supers at gates in the brinstar room that hides an energy tank. I performed this as well in my RBO.

I've watched all of Cpadolf's (current?) TASes, and I've never seen him do that trick in the location namespoofer posted, Guardian Garr. Maybe I've gone crazy, but are you sure it's possible there?

It MIGHT be, but i doubt it. I sure as shit got so close that I didn't understand why it didn't hit. I honestly didn't see the missle hardly at all under the button and shit.

I am guessing that if you moved fast enough, say with the mockball, it could be possible.

Wait, your saying that your shooting horizontally from far far back?

You won't hit the switch with a horizontal shot because there are 2 blocks there, the cliff edge and the actual gate. Same applies to the gate that connects RB to Maridia.

Yes, that's what I have been trying to say lol. I know that the blocks are there, but what I don't understand is how my missle misses by pixels and explodes on the button, or near, and still doesn't open.

I remember vaguely in Saturn's Redesign TAS he abuses the fact that supers "curve" if you're running when you shoot them to open a door that was very much not possible with a straight shot. Is this the same kind of thinking that works on the gates, or is it another kind of abuse?
