Club 27 Goals

The currently viewing/online thing on the top right looks messed up for me (on the miikii skin at least).

For example, Squishy_ichigo get cut off and it only says Squishy_ich. Also, it seperates Poision and Envy, which then messes up the PM option next to everyone's name.

The issue with squishy's name looks like it's just a matter of the box only showing a certain number of characters, but it's not like you wouldn't know it was him. The issue with your name sounds like it has something to do with the program not liking a space in your name.

Yeah, that's what I want. I don't think the default miikii is dark enough.
I wanted it to feel like an original m2k2 style.

This gives me some better idea, how about we swap grey and black inside out, to look more like original m2k2. Also we should use red text for link.

I do like the red, but why does your text look all weird and blurry? Did you do that?

Because I made the text more boldly, and yes, I created this entirely by photoshop.

Anyway, I was going to say it seems slow, but I'm betting that has to do with the users online window on the right.

I can't explain since I'm not really sure.

The new look is alright with me, and I'm sure it will handle a lot better on my Computer at home w/ XP.

I could give some suggestions, but I don't have the time now, and some things may have already been suggested in previous pages.

Edit: After trying to reply in another topic - at times I was not able to do anything because I kept getting something about a nonresponsive script. I'd lose control of my cursor and nothing would happen in (this) field where you type your reply. If nothing was happening I could still type and after a while everything I typed out would quickly stream in. Seeing how I messed up while typing blindly was a bit funny though.

Edit2: I'm trying to edit this but it seems to jump back to the top and whatever I typed disappears. I'll save real quick before it happens again.

Edit3: Now. What I really wanted to say was, I noticed the colors of the names/ranks/status of some of the users a couple days ago. I thought of asking if I could have my name be in purple colors... Now, I see some names of moderators have purple colored names. And no. I'm not asking to be a mod. :->

I just thought that was a neat coincidence.

I'm sure it has to do with the comps OS (WME or POS :-] )

The color of the mod names is based off of the appearance template if my eyes serve me correctly...

And aigamerDS, pretty snazzy mockup d^_^d

some of the other hack board guys don't much care for the new m2k2 look, but I'd like to say I personally find it to be quite a change of pace, especially since metconst uses smf and the two forums looked WAY to similar before now.

i just pushed out a new version of the forum for us. i hope some of the live posting/editing/userlist/performance stuff will be fixed now. fork made a bunch of changes to the styles too which i'm sure he'll talk about soon.

i really have to thank everyone for helping me work through all these bugs. you've been wonderful.

the thing with squishy_ichigo's name is not a bug. names that are too long just get cut off, simple as that. your name breaking onto another line is a bug though and will be fixed.

It doesn't show up in the taiga (color) ones, oddly. I only just noticed it.

nate mentioned that he just pushed a new version of taiga forum out. the main style changes are in taigas blue, green, and red - they now look very different! they're much lighter and hopefully easier to read.
i'll have to ask those of you wanting the old forum style back to wait just a little longer. raan (the name of my version of that style) will be finished soon. i also plan to lighten up the backgrounds of miikii a bit too.

also, index view and the active userlist have been cleaned up a bit in all styles. thanks again for all of your feedback so far!

hmm... when I click the viewing tab, and the user list collapses, it comes back alittle while later. (I assume when someone enters/leaves the topic page)
