technically, taiga's the name of the software company; taiga forum's the name of this forum software. ;)
you can't erase them because pms are actually posts, and you can't delete other people's posts. if you could, it would delete it for the user you're corresponding with too. we really need to put in some proper error pages.
i somewhat agree. i think unread definitely needs to go up there, but i figured the other two didn't need to be fixed (or "floated") because they're something a user would only use maybe once a day or once a week, after choosing their initial settings. space is precious on the main bar, especially when you narrow the browser window.
eventually we plan to let users change what's up there via drag and drop, so you'll be able to put any link there you'd like.
ah, you're the second person to spot that, good catch. still working on fixing it.

Weird, it seems to be going faster for me. Using the Miikii theme, the text is kinda weird, but the colors are fine.

poision envy: yeah, i guess people aren't digging the fixed-width font (courier new). it's sort of m2k2's trademark which is why i brought it back for miikii (the first m2k2 forum used courier too). looks like i definitely need to roll out another dark style that looks more like the smf default asap.

Thanks for your concern. It's not really about the font. It's just hard to distinguish the layout, the separation between posts. All I see is a plain black screen with white tiny font (no extra color to make it clearer). The previous smf was more "readable". I'm sorry I can't point out any particular thing. It's about the visual layout as a whole.

Yeah, that's what I want. I don't think the default miikii is dark enough.
