I just saw the new NEW Metroid Prime 2 ad!

Description:
It's a lady walking down an alley slowly. There are light's filtering from above. As the woman walk into the shadow, the Varia Suit "falls" in pieces onto her walking body (yes, she's wearing clothes, you nasty person :) ). When she's in the light, it goes away. At the end of her walk, the suit is complete except for the mask. She looks up and aims her arm cannon at the camera. After that, the narrator and game screens take over.

Where:
About 5:30 PM Sci Fi Channel

What I think:
This is so much better than that teaser and comparable to the original Prime ad from Animal Logic (http://www.animallogic.com/commercials/metroidprime/)
Thread title:
Haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but I think this is what you are referring to:

(It's a link at the bottom of the page)
That's the one! You're good, I couldn't find references to it when I searched. Anyway, I joined Gamespot to stream it, but even the highest connection was terrible. I guess I'll have to wait until someone else has it online.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Yeah, Gamespot has got to have the worst picture quaility ever on-line, it doesn't seem to matter what connection you have, it's crap anyway.

The funny thing is, I wasn't even looking for it: I just stumbled upon it while I was checking out Gamespot the other day (Awaiting the final review of Echoes 8))

I did manage to watch it last night, and it was awesome!
lol no way
It's pretty good, but it doesn't compare to mp1's video... that one had a LOT of hard work put into it, this is just some animation of an attractive woman with some cg pieces of metal flying onto her... I mean, not to say it's BAD, just not as good as the other one.
The woman looks like 7 of 9 from star trek.  I can't remember the actresses' name.

While I think the stern-but-sexy look is an appropriate choice, a better choice would be one devoid of particulars, a kind of calm, genderless, angelic seriousness.  A show of emotion doesn't inspire fear in an enemy nearly as much as a complete lack of it.
red chamber dream
I think the ad for the first Prime could have been better, but the Samus in that one was so cheesy looking. If she wasn't a person in a suit, she sure moved like one.

The new one is just...amazing.
I'm actually impressed usually ads for games suck
It's on www.metroid.com too, if you didn't notice. In the second room.
lvl 28 Magic Leper
The one at Mertoid.com is a lot clearer, it looks much better.
lol no way
Watching it again I can't help but feel that the woman they chose looks less "stern-but-sexy" and more "I'm-a-giant-slut". Eh.
Time bomb set get out fast!

Jeri Ryan.

<- It seems only fitting that I be the one to answer that.

Could you be more specific? I haven't explored the site much and suddenly I can't  click on anything. Is it a flash video or a regular video?
Sorry for the double post, but now I have the video. Does someone know were I could post a 3.5 meg file, because I grabbed the video from temperary internet files, unless, it's online somewhere in higher quality. Any ideas?

Well there ya go! Embarassed
I actually liked the ads for Prime1 and Fusion moreso than this one

I saw this ad before the 'drug' one. Both ok
I'm just glad the ad for this game isn't bad. I hated those horrible  "too much fun" ads though.
It is indeed a very cool ad. It is my favorite Metroid ad so far and i hope Nintendo continues to make cool ones such as this one.
