Ok, his name is already credited on the video description. I think i will integrate another credit in the PDF format.
Hi there. I post a new message here because I have a big problem with my hack, for several people, hack is completely glitchy, (Doors doesn't work, water can be find in wrong rooms). I think it is linked to bad patch, but it's a little bit annoying for people and i don't want to dissapoint them. Darkholme Hospital needed many work and it's a pity if the game doesn't work correctly. Please what can I do Quietus ? :(
What'd you say?
What...? Including pictures, video, or an ips of your hack would prove so helpful in attempting to decipher your post. I'm not trying to be mean but I really am confused.
Don't worry :) Finally glitches concern unheadered ROMs, while patch is for headered :) I am relieved
What'd you say?
I'm glad you resolved your issues, please feel free to come back if you need any assistance. =)
Thank you Tyjet :) Sorry for my late answer. If you want, the hack is available on MetConst, in topic "Darkholme Hospital" see the teaser video description to have the version 1.0 ! The 1.1 version will coming soon and will be more practical! See you
Hello, I have a new answer. What is the hex offset to edit damages of enemies projectiles ? I find a doc about enemy projectiles header but I don't think it can help me. I'm searching for NAMI and FUNE offset please :)
I need help! When I load a level it says runtime error number 76: path not found. Please help me!
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
Check to see that none of your folders have had their names altered.  Alternatively, just copy all of your stuff, download SMILE again, and it'll set them back up for you.

I want to change the different beam SBA damage, as I suspect they are called (charged with PB special super-beam). I have tried to modify these different beams in SMILE (Spazer SBA, Plasma SBA, Wave SBA), although it only seems to work on changing the Plasma SBA. And why is Ice SBA excluded? All this seems strange to me.
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
If you check the previous screen (under projectile editor), you'll see that the Ice SBA uses the same damage value as charged Ice shots.

As for why it's not saving, I do not know.  It seems odd, and works fine for me.

I only tried it at the bomb torizo, maybe that's what it's about. A shame though that the ice SBA doesn't have its own damage.

I might as well put this post to use.

Am I the only one experiencing trouble with the Samus Poses editor in SMILE 2.50? Most of the button checkboxes are unchecked and changes bring weird results. It worked fine in SMILE 2.31. I can't find 2.31 anywhere, so anyone know what this is all about?

Sorry.  I've never used it.  However, as I've probably mentioned to a few people in the past, you'd be much more likely to get an answer by posting on the Engine Works section of Metroid Construction.
Say decided to finally download the SMILE and now that I have it, I cannot seem to get it to work, I try to get my SMILE to load the ROM but it says: run-time error: '76' Path not found.  how do I correct this?
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
You need to create a folder within the SMILE folder called 'plugins'.
I created the folder, but, I still am not able to get SMILE to work every time I go to select the Super Metroid ROM it keeps saying the same thing...  is it something I need in order to get it to finally get to start editing aside from the folder?  'Cause I'm missing something I think...
BTW, is it something if my Super Metroid ROM seems to say in properties that it is an Snes9x rom?
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
Is it actually opening the ROM, or are you getting an error, and then SMILE closes?

It being labelled as a snes9x ROM is irrelevant.  That's just due to the .smc file having its association set with snes9x.  You should download SMILE, extract it, create a folder called 'plugins' inside it, place your ROM in the folder, open SMILE, select your ROM, and then start editing.  Are you still getting the same 76 error, or does it say something else?  Are you using the correct ROM?  It should be Super Metroid (JU) [!].smc, and it should preferebly be unheadered, which will make it 3,072KB in size.
OK, the responses to the question in order I believe are:
1. It isn't even opening the rom it gives the error message and doesn't even open SMILE afterward...
2.I don't think it is a JU rom not even sure it is unheadered, I'm not even sure what half the terms means quite yet, the ersion of SMILE I have is the 3.0 version if that helps any one help me get closer to using SMILE correctly.
also, yes it is the same error 76 message, how do I end up creating the plugin folder INSIDE the SMILE if it doesn't open all the way? I guess being a rookie and noob at this stuff doesn't help, but I'm trying to figure it out by looking up everything I can in order to get this program to run, and I'm not finding much except this forum to help me...
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
Download SMILE, and extract it to wherever you want it.  Do NOT load SMILE, but open its folder.  Then create a folder in there with the 'plugins' name.  You do this before opening SMILE.  You need the JU version, as SMILE won't work with others.  If you change your folder's view to details, you will see the .smc's size, to tell whether it's the usual 3,072KB.
OK, got the JU version downloaded extracted the SMILE to where I wanted it, made the folder for plugins, and went to do the SMILE load up with JU rom and well run-tme error 76. Path not found...  Ugh... I think I'm gonna have to figure out what is wrong with my computer...
So, anybody have some sort of registry cleaner that doesn't require having to pay to register it? cause, that might be the only way I can fix this run-time error 76...
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
It hasn't got anything to do with that.  Where did you get SMILE from?  Jathys's site?  Numerous people have reported the 76 error, and the fix has always been to ensure that that folder exists.  Failing that, you could try SMILE JX instead.
