NOTE : My email which appears to the beginning is no longer avalaible ! so if U want to join me, U can use the Email on my profile ! thanks
I was initially kind of put off by this hack because I kept getting permastuck in the very beginning.  I'm glad I didn't give up because it's turned out to be quite worthwhile. I would like a hint about this:

How do I get this etank?  I did an extra short charge, then rolled under the pillars, but I cant seem to horizontally shinespark low enough to hit the speed blocks, and I can't conceive of any way to do a speedball in this room.  help, I really want that tank!!

You probably need to speedball for that. (Mockball while speed boosting.)

Theres barely enough room to do an extra short speed boost, let alone a speed ball.

Speed ball is the only way to get into a one-tile high space, unless you boost from underneath I don't know what else you'd need to do.

Maybe you need a blue suit...
I've encountered several powerups that don't seem attainable, unless I'm missing something.
yes ! U must use the speedball here ! and All items can be found ! U just have to find the right trick !
IF i find the time to do it ! i will make a complete run of my hack so U will see how to pick up all the items !
Be patient for some who are interrested
see U soon on youtube
someone shoot me for missing threads like this. Imma start LPing this as a first playthrough. Should be fun.

An updated patch have been released on the top of page 1.
6 bugs have been fixed.
Ok finally finished this one.  4:32 81%.    I really enjoyed this hack:

Likes:

- The requirement of speedball for so many items was awesome.  Loved the one in LN and the one I had to do to get Plasma.  I gave up on the ET in brinstar though.
-The speed booster hidden in a fake save room was nice.
-I love how getting gravity takes you through an otherwise impassable wall.  (I've seen that before but still love it).
-This is a great half-hack of a full-hack and I believe will lead to more of them.

Dislikes:

-There are/were alot of permastuck places but hopefully those will be gone in the coming upgrade.
-Since this is a half-hack i guess the map layout has to be the same as Dependence, but would have liked to have seen more different item placement / order.

Also - this ET in GT's room really really has me stumped.  Can't wait to find out how this is obtained.

Thanks for a very fun hack!

So far I'm enjoying this hack a lot, got stuck a lot looking for super missiles and the gravity suit.  Not sure if I went about things in the intended order or not, I went Kraid, Ridley, Phantoon, Draygon.  Currently in prototourian with all major items except plasma and icebeam.

Edit: BTW Opium. That e-tank:
Those are enemy destroyable blocks

79%, 5:13.  I agree that this "half-hack of a hack" concept has tremendous potential.  I'd love to see something like this done well to Legacy, Limit, Cliffhanger, etc.  The execution here was decent if unspectacular.  As noted, the item progression/location, and in places the overall feel, was nearly identical to Dependence, and it felt like little more than Dependence reskinned.  In other places it felt fresher.  Difficulty was OK, if a little easy in places, although the escape was something.  Biggest drawbacks were the stuck points, which it sounds like is being corrected, and the bomb timing, which was just annoying.

Good job overall though, and a nice little diversion while wating for Eris and others.
5:19. 74%.  I didn't remember much from Dependence so that made this a lot more fun to play.  I got lost... a lot.  Never did find ice or plasma, but getting around metroids wasn't a problem and plasma is only really ever useful for Ridley anyways (who I only had charge and spazer for, ugh).  Hard to critique without Dependence fresh in mind, but as everyone else has said, perma-stuck situations were frustrating, but I liked the amount of tricks required to get into some places and that nothing ever needed to be super precise.
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
Permastuck situations is one of the major reasons that I play on ZSNES, rather than snes9x.  snes9x is great when I'm recording movies, but the Rewind button in ZSNES is way, waaay handy.

Also - this ET in GT's room really really has me stumped.  Can't wait to find out how this is obtained.

Hi Opium !
To get this ET, U just have to let Torizo jump on it and he will destroy the wall on the ET

*not minimoding*
should this be moved to the now playing? not to mention it took me a long time to find this hack and play it. I got lucky finding it when i was looking at the "Who Online" section of this form and somebody was viewing this. Google wasn't doing shit.
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
I expect it'll need somebody to go through all of the old topics, and move over a lot of the ones like this.  The new rules asked all hackers to announce their hack as finished, so it could be moved over to the 'Now Playing' section, but a lot of the hacks that have been found can't get announced, so they'll sit there.
3x whoa mission done
