On my end of things:

For the record, this tileset is probably the hardest I've used to build with so far....

Why don't you add more tiles to it then?
Nice palette btw.

For some reason, this took me a ridiculous amount of time to do. It seems almost easier to get in there and get the tank on 1.51, but I still managed to get it on 1.43+ v12b10 while recording.

Skip to around frame 24800 for when I actually get into the pocket, or around 28700 for when I actually get the tank.

Almost happy
Nice, now I see how it works, you have to be very close to the missile but not completely up against the wall, and facing to the left. Turning will but you on the missile.

Also I found a more fun and broken way of getting it, smv attached.

I love how this is just a beta and yet you guys are already finding sequence breaks and tricks.  I can't wait to see what you guys do to the full version. :D

Still trying to get either Cpadolf or Kriole to TAS this with me, the full version ofc.

I know me and Cpadolf will be done with our any% by the time you finish this, but if he won't I'm sure Kriole will after cliffhanger, which may take a long while considering how hard it is. >.<
Wait, are you people getting problems trying to get that missile pack normally or are you trying to do some crazy sequence break which 50% of the time you might get stuck?.

I hope its the second option =/

It's closer to the second option, but you pretty much never get stuck. I just happen to have never done the trick where you jump through a tile from a platform three tiles below.

But yeah, that sequence break allows you to kill Torizo without having to pick up any refills, as he takes exactly 12 missiles to kill.
Wait, you mean as in, going through the platforms/ceiling? how D:
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Kejardon told me that it's done by jumping into a two-tile space and pressing down and forward to become crouched two pixels into the ground, from where you can simply jump straight through the ceiling, as long as it is only one tile.
Fear Me! (Or else...)
Of course, people could just look at the obvious. Once you shoot it, morph right next to it, and bomb once. Bingo! *Duh!*

The idea is to get it before bombs, so as to make it be a sequence break, Bioniclegenius. Getting that missile tank makes killing Torizo much faster, and using bombs is the normal way to obtain the tank.
Fear Me! (Or else...)
Hm... still, it's not that big an issue.
To SBer's it is.  Any item they can get early is a good item.
Fear Me! (Or else...)
Ok. Btw, how did they get in there w/o bombs? I must have missed that. Was it through a slope block? Because that'd be very easily fixable.

Misunderstanding a thread because you haven't read it thoroughly is okay in small doses, but this is getting a bit much. In the future, please refrain from posting about something you're not familiar with if you haven't properly perused the thread first.

It's from using a glitch allowing you to jump through a single tile when there is a space of exactly two empty tiles between the single tile and the platform/ground below; it's used in original SM runs in Wrecked Ship after Phantoon. Also, I don't think the point is to fix it; it's an actual sequence break in a hack (actual meaning not intended).
Fear Me! (Or else...)
I know, but now that he knows about it, he could fix it if he wanted to.

I'll refer you to what Acheron quite literally just told you:

This shows rather obvious support for what we are doing, so if you're not going to contribute in some way to either the sequence breaking or the discussion in general, be quiet. I'm getting tired of telling you stuff like this, as with the majority of those on #jzd.
Looks superb!
For those of you who haven't realized it, I've been periodically updating the progress meters in the first post.  Today I hit the 1/3 mark for Cyclonia, going by room count.  I'm at 21/58 planned rooms complete. :-D

As for the conversation that went on above, I fully support Sequence-breaking.  I think that what these guys are doing, even in this small demo, is rather awesome and I give them all my support.  I can't wait to see what they'll find in the final version and I think a TAS would be even crazier. :D
Well it's not really something I can fix so I have no choice but to leave it in. I'm not going to try and make my hack SB-proof because one I think SBs are fun and cool and two it would be way too much effort to even try and make it SB-proof and even then I'd still probably miss stuff.  Not worth the time and effort. >_>
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Actually, that particular SB could be fixed by simply lowering that platform by a block, thus preventing the glitch that allows you to get into there.

I meant the 2 block jump-through-ceiling glitch in general.  Also, I could care about how it is now, so you lucky guys can SB the tank when the final version comes out. :P
Sorry to double post but I believe it's okay if you have content to add?  Editing posts don't bump topics.
