Kraid was in the first demo... I'll try it out soon just to see what you've got for us this time.
Quote from Bolognab:
Well, I got Varia, but not Boost, Grapple, or Charge Beam. Very beautiful style and good aesthetics (I wish my aesthetic sense was as good as yours.) I would go as far to say that your style is the most similar to Super Metroid, second only to Drewseph.

Some general critiques that I thought up:
-fanta skyhopper is friggin' ugly!
-cyclonia is, for a lack of a better word, "cheap." I didn't like that you re-used one tileset in 4 different palettes. I guess it's okay though.
-sanctorium is lacking in detail, I would add some new blocks to the tileset, perhaps, to spruce things up.
-bricks used outside in crateria are outlined darkly; you should change the types used outside.

Also, I never finished the last demo, so I don't quite understand how much was added to warrant a second demo. From what I have seen, all you've done is add kraid and speedbooster to the demo. But that's just me, since my emulator failed soon after I acquired varia.

There's a lot more to do after Varia.  Explore back into Gaia Heights some more and you'll find more to do.
Good stuff. I'm fairly certain I've got most everything except charge... which eludes me to the point of frustration. Can't wait for the whole thing.
I was just remarking to my friend that I think the passage leading to Charge is too hard to discover.

The passage is:
In the room in Gaia Heights with the save station, near Bomb Torizo, there's a ledge on the right wall.  The passage is located there.  You need PBs.
On the map of Cyclonia, the backwards 'L' shaped room that is directly under the Elevator...  Open the door that goes back to the left, roll into a ball and go back into the cave-like room.

Graphics Glitch.

I know.  This is still a demo and not complete.  But I figured I'd mention it in case you didn't know about it.
It's known but I've yet to figure a suitable fix.  I have some ideas I'll think about later, but thanks for bringing it up again.
XEL NAGA from CHOZO? ADUN TORIDAS
why don't you put new music in your hack Question (like secret of mana, s.o.m. rocks)
Because to do that you manually have to make and write the music into the hack.  There is no easy way to do it and it is not something that I care to do.

ok i understand i said that because :
Bomb Torizo's room turns orange before the rest of Gaia Heights does.

Also got in this position by holding right while falling down the shaft.

Actually if you listen carefully, you still hear Craterias second tune in the area past the fishes. The music you hear is played during the video as an exterior tune.

I got everything in the readme except for one missile which eluded me to no end. So far it is very impressive, I really like some of the areas I got to explore.

I also noticed that you don't need multiple PBs to get out of the tunnel that leads to High-Jump, I just used boost-ball and it shot me back through all the PB blocks.
Stuck!

I've been alerted already and will fix soon.  Go not using common sense. >_<

I just laughed at this. I'm sorry but I never thought of doing that in that spot. laugh new
Almost happy
You can also get stuck

In the place where you do a long vertical shinespark to reach a E-tank. If you go back after the E-tank make a shortcharge and break the top block shinespark block you will be stuck in the tunnel. I did that because I though you might have hidden something in that space... But unless I missed something you didn't
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
A couple of bugs that I found, which you can feel free to ignore if you already know. Razz

1. You can get stuck in the missile room if you midair morph or bomb-jump into the tile indicated above Samus.
2. If you mockball or boostball through the door to Samus's left, the graphics are garbled on the other side, as shown.

OMG FLAN!!!!!!!
I think this is the end...

Havent read the readme so I don't know. I got Charge, Spazer, Ice, Grapple, Boostball, Varia, High Jump, Speed Booster, Morph, Bombs, 58 Missiles, 11 Super Missiles, 9 Power Bombs.

You should've made the way to SB more obvious. I only found it by accident cause I happened to bomb on that exact spot... Rolling Eyes

@ Bloodsonic:

First in after you get bombs near the save station. Obviously you'd have that one. Next one is behind that pipe that was in the pic you posted (just before morphball). You need bombs. Next one is in Sanctorium in the vents. Just before the first two blocks you need to bomb. Last one is in the room to the left of the one with 2 Kago in it. You need to destroy the kago and then shinespark upwards in the next room straight after the door (there's a hint in the ceiling).

Can some1 tell me where is the Speed Booster?
I can't find it.

You can actually just short charge there to get up there, without destroying the Kago.

Bomb across the bottom of the shaft in Therma, and you'll see what you have to do.
Almost happy
Where are the Power Bombs (last items I got was speedbooster and grapple)?
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
Far Eastern Gaia Heights.  Look for a room shaped like a fat tick.  There's a grapple block in the top-left.  Shoot around it.
Almost happy
Well I never found a way i to that area (I assume that you mean the part separated from the part of the map you begin in), so I guess that's my problem and if so how do I get there?

Oh, OK. Very Happy

You need to either:

Bomb or Speed Boost through some blocks, up and to the right of your ship.  If you haven't got Spazer, you'll find it on the way, so you'll know you're on the right track.

Also, I noticed that the graphical glitch I posted earlier is, I believe, the same one that was mentioned earlier by Gaius_4, so consider it consistently erroring.  I also found a tiling error, but I'd be surprised if it hadn't already been noticed.  See attached.

EDIT: Lastly, I noticed that if you boostball through a door you get the speed booster charge sound, so is it intentional or just a harmless bug?

early super missiles FTW!
