Thread title:
Watching this right now but I had to interrupt myself because of the sheer genius I just witnessed. All I'm going to say is: large Mocktroid room.

Watches the rest*
Is there a link to stream it?
I really wouldn't know but I doubt it to be honest. Are you having trouble playing the SMV ?
Indeed.  I hate Snes9X.

I dislike using it to play games but watching smv's on it is no problem. snes9X 1.43 v17 is the exact emulator you need though if that's any help. v13 also works too, according to the requirements on the TAS videos link.
What'd you say?
I'm with Opium, I hate dealing with SMVs. I've probably missed out on so much just cause I don't deal with them.

You just go onto File, Movie, play movie and then click on the browse tab to search for wherever you put the smv file on your computer. It's honestly not that hard. It's better to have learned it once and get it rather than to never bother and assume it's a big deal when it really isn't.

Cool, thanks!

I had the wrong version (again) of snes9x, so I went to their official site to download the newest version, and they don't even have it!  So I did some searching and found a link, but when I went to run it, it said that a file was missing. It was just too much hassle.

All of the videos on TASvideos detail which version of the emulator you need, but it's usually easier to just wait for the encode.  I've been watching this run for a while, and it is fantastic, even after a few views.  I was hoping for brilliance, and when he grabbed the ET in Blue Brinstar, I was hooked. aiwebs_004

Also, Opium, was it here that you checked?  That's always the place for the latest rerecording version.

The Bomb that says it all .!..
From the second the glass tube was busted until the elevator was ridden in the East of Maridia. Is a marvel to watch. Woah!
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
I also like the Super in the Pink Brinstar ET room. Cool
...This is one of the best TAS'es I've ever seen. I found myself laughing the whole way through, just looking at the way these guys toyed with the physics and grappling beam tricks. Kudos to the trio!
Bananas GOOD, Kremlings BAD
I loved the trip through Maridia -- seeing new tricks.

Were there new tricks I missed?  Or do you just mean you hadn't seen them before?

Actually, having just flicked through again, the only new one I saw was the super short charge atop the Mocktroids.
The only new trick i can remember beeing performed in Maridia is the Mocktroid frozen bridge (fucking cool!!!), but there are old tricks, like the grapple morph glitch, beeing used in very clever ways!

Btw, nice to see you around, Smokey!
