Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
I found this on YouTube earlier today, and thought that it looked really cool.



I'm not a fan of all of the blocks looking like they're really deep, but it is a WiP.

If this comes to fruition, I reckon it could be great.

They could at least have used tiles everywhere.

Looks like someone made a model of the first few rooms of Tourian in a modeling program and then did a flythrough. There's no evidence of any actual gameplay. I could probably throw something similar together in a few hours.

I'm saying this isn't even in the "Proof of Concept" stage, let alone the "Work in Progress" stage. This is the "Tech Demo" stage, if anything.

I hadn't seen that, and that does make a significant difference; a decent Samus model is a big step forward. Still a long way to go, of course, but I wish him luck.

My own project is sitting at 6383 lines of Python and many months of work, and I'm only just now getting around to adding enemies...
