I did. Twice. But I still have no reply. And I really want to go on with the game. -_-

Besides, if I simply edit a post, those that have already looked at it won't see it as "new" in the index. And therefore, won't look at it again.
And if someone looks at it and doesn't answer, they probably don't know the answer.  Be patient.  Someone will eventually look at your post and be able to answer it.

As for where to go, I've just remembered: did you try the area past Kraid?
There wasn't much past Kraid, as far as I remember. I'll go check, anyway. I might have missed something there(although I think there are only one or two rooms past him).

EDIT:

Well, there was an entrance to Maridia there(but I can't go much further than the entrance), and it also leads to another part of Norfair I haven't been to yet. I will explore it, and come back if I need something else. Thanks Blue Glass.

EDIT 2:

Yes, that was the path. I found the Grapple Beam, and I think I know where my next upgrade is. Hope I am right.

EDIT 3:(this is getting annoying...but I can't double post)

Yeah! I KNEW something was up there. I have my Hi-Jump Boots now. Where to? >_>

EDIT 4:(now, this is out of hand >_>)

I have Spazer and Wave beams, along with the X-Ray Scope and Speed Booster. But why can't I combine the beams? That must be the second new item...Oh well. Where to go now? I'm totally lost this time.

Okay... so if I remember, after the HJ Boots, you need to go get the:
Gravity Suit
For that , go near where you found spazer, I mean the way you had to take to Boost up to the spazer, but now, go to the right.

I can't really specify more for now but ask again if you are lost.
EDIT:

Forget all that. I'm at the boss after the Space Jump, and this is what I have right before the fight:

68 Missiles(out of 130 something)
3 Super Missiles(out of...10? Dunno)
8 Power Bombs(out of...god knows. 12 or so)
6 Energy Tanks and no Reserve Tank

Items are: Gravity Suit, Charge, Ice, Wave and Spazer, and of course, all boot upgrades and bombs.

And I'm getting my ass seriously kicken. One of it's sting attacks does around 2 tanks of energy! Any strategy?
If you mean Draygon, then try to kill him with grapple beam as shown on the site. Or try to bomb his belly, that also works good.

Also, why the hell only 3 super missiles out of 10? I wouldn't be surprised to get my ass handed to me if I rammed at every boss without full ammo/energy.
I'll be back. Maybe...
draygon grapple kill doesn't work on redesign. kejardon upped the electric damage massively so you die before draygon.

Regular bombs hurt him more then they usually do. Also dont hesititate to PB or shoot the hell out of the gunk spit to open him up to massive damage. I had to do that. And by all means STAY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROOM IF YOU CAN

From Redesign? Tactic available?
You need plasma for that to work.
Yeah I know but do you get plasma at that phase of the game? I haven't played Redesign through I don't know myself.

Hmm... Looking at the layout of the room, I hardly think it could be Redesign, since the exit door is at the bottom right and not left, like in the vid, and that there's more sand and I dunno precisely but I think the physics are not the same a Redesign too. I know this from a hack I played but I can't remember.
I tried the Grapple strategy from SM, but I just couldn't get the grapple to one of the electricity turrets. And I have that ammount of items because there's no enemy I can restock on, besides the big fishes which take like 12 hits with the Spazer to kill(which is the one that kills them the fastest).

I might try bombing him next, but I just couldn't get the bombs to explode on his belly last time I tried.

Like has been explained a few times this thread

The Grapple Kill trick does not work. The game was fixed in a way that you will die before Draygon does!

Also

Even if you were somehow to get Plasma before getting to Draygon I seriously doubt that would work anyway cause you need to combine your Ice/Plasma/Charge Beams, and...................

You need the Beam Combiner for that, which you do not get until after Draygon

I just checked.  The video is of Legacy.
Ignore me!
So I finally beat Draygon using obscene savestate abuse. Liek, wait for swoop, then state.  Charge and make ABSOLUTELY GODDAMN SURE that the charged Spazer hits. Repeat ad nauseum. I hate that sand. That's what really puts the fight from hard to obscene.  That sand is the worst shite ever to make it into anywhere. I HATE THE SM SAND SHITE.
Armor Guardian
In my most recent playthrough I just bombed him. IIRC it only takes 9 bombs to finish him. Seriously.

I should thank you for teaching me a lesson that I suck. Im never getting through
Tourain
at least not with my lack of expertise in Metroid

It isn't much worse than in Metroid 1, but two things that are crucial are all beams+beam combo (to be able to easily freeze multiple 'troids with one broad shot), and Screw Attack to hurl them away. The basic rule is to not attack metroids with missiles until you have frozen all of them that see you. I'm sure you'll make it.

Progress is very slow.

DAMMIT I HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO BEFORE THAT NEEDED MISSLE RECHARGE

I finally managed to 100% this.  Nice job, Drew; I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Heh, I didn't even know there was a v1.6 of it.  Oh well.

Oh, the wicked child:

If you are talking about getting across that gap, a simple bomb jump will suffice.

OK, I've been trying the "simple" bomb jump, and its turning out to be not so simple. Anyone have a tip on how it's done? Or perhaps how I may do it better?
Metroid Exp: Exploration - Great, Skills - Decent
To bomb jump over, lay a bomb near the gap, then just before it goes off, inch over to the right/left towards the gap (depending on if you are going left or right, going left = inch left, going right = inch right

The sand fall ledge right before the upper chozo guardian in west Maridia is a severe pain. The bomb jump worked, but only after an exceptional number of tries. Drewseph left only a few pixels worth of room to work with.

That complaint aside, Thank You for the help!

And to Drewseph[aka Sigfriedxx], Massive Kudos to you! Might I suggest a "light" version for those who loved Super Metroid but aren't as hard core as us? Lowering hit damage by 30% and raising weapon power by 20% would make this remake a lot of fun for those not quite as adept.  Only a suggestion though... Again Thank You for this awesome remake! Gumpei Yokoi would admire your work for sure.

I think it should be called Super Metroid.

Though I do think hacks should move the Tourian save to BEFORE the point of no return as a prerequisit. >_>
