I am actually recording my first time of playing this. I am past Golden Torizo and am searching all the dots that I couldn't find items in earlier....

Part 1 out of 24(30 when all the videos finish loading up. Yes this is by a digital camera. My computer does not have the capability(Or graphics card, rather) to record with a screen recorder, so you get this. It is still a good enough quality to see what's happening and you get to hear me freak out when I fail at somthing. Remember, this is my FIRST time playing this hack...

Isn't it easier to record using one of the methods above, ratehr than a camera?

I understand that some, myself included, prefer playing with ZSNES, but SNES9X is pretty much identical, and has easier recording facilities.

This is a really entertaining hack. I especially liked Draygon.

Out of curiosity, what made you decide not to use save stations? I know some people have had problems using them, but I never have.

I want Samus in headphones.

I decided to try this out today, and I'm having a lot of fun, but it seems that you can't beat Spore Spawn without the morphball, and I read that you get that in Norfair.

Am I supposed to be in Crateria? I've just started and I only have one energy tank and 15 missiles.

I've found aplace that looks like

Maridia(I went down from where i picked up gravity suit) but in "Maridia" there is a grey door I can't pass

If not how do I enter

Clear time 8:28 91%
Etacoons and Dachoras saved.

The time for escape was very generous I still had 10:15 left when I got to my ship.

I really liked this hack thanks for making it.

4:45, 64%, animals saved. This was a really excellent hack; as much as I enjoy the challenge hacks, it's great fun to run around in a Zebes that isn't trying to kill you. I especially enjoyed the Draygon fight, watery Brinstar, and the escape.

A speedrun would be a very interesting task for this hack, given

the long time required to grab Charge Beam and the extreme nonlinearity after Power Bombs.

And I just found a pretty good SB, for early PBs. As early as Morphball! I made a ~~.smv~~ video so you can see what I did. (cough cough, Ice beam glitch...)
But if anyone is interested in doing a Speedrun, talk to me first, as I can give you all the shortcuts, and try to help you find more!
(Like I'm still looking for early supers...)

Very nicely done. I can tell that a speedrun is doable thanks in part to the open-endedness. Some of it is a little Zero Mission in feel, where getting one item opens up two or three paths (that I noticed).

Gold Torizo with just ice/charge was a little bitch! Of course, AFTERWARDS I found the Wave beam. With a good route, my time could easily be cut in half without much difficulty.

EDIT: I opted not to look in the thread at ALL and just wanted to see what I could accomplish. I managed to find major upgrade except Spazer and didn't really find any major ones that were really more than moderately difficult to obtain. Early item order was a lot of fun, if a little frustrating at times before bombs.

I found this place in Underwater Brinstar where a e-Tank is hidden in the sand and I got down there by powerbombs, but I cant manage to get the tank and I also cant get out anymore.

yeah... I accidently sealed that item off... so you can't get it. This has been brought to my attention before, and I appoligize for any inconciences.

To get out, you'll have to bomb jump. If you accidently skiped bombs you'll have to powerbomb jump out.
If you can't manage to bomb jump out then you'll have to use a different save state.

In this hack you get the morph ball waaaaay later compare to the other hacks Wink
