Yeah, anytime a developer places optional routes can't really be considered sequence-breaking, but rather alternate routes.

I was trying a low% Limit run a while back, and sadly grapple cannot be skipped.
You would need to use x-ray climb in two water-filled rooms shortly after phantoon, but you can only get x-ray by defeating Ridley, who you can't access until you defeat phantoon. Grrrrr.

Don't worry, Spore Spawn isn't flashing but it's still taking damage. Also, you CAN hit it with multiple missiles; you just have to fire them off in rapid succession and account for its movement starting once the first shot hits.

need help:
when im killed phantoom, moved to the left room and there was nothing . Also stuck forever.

my inventory is:
2 energy tanks
50 missiles
charge, ice beam
morphball, bombs

any help will be appreciated.
