Is there any reason why you're using the WS "X block" tile with the 2 little nodules at the bottom for connections to the struts even when you have no struts connecting to them? Instead of a regular "X block" tile.

Sorry which part are you referring to?
*EDIT*
Oooooh wait I get you, nah its a mistake, i've chosen that one thinking it was the other one...thanks for letting me know :D
The little hanging maze of metal blocks that are associated with the entrance to the WS in the normal game. There's a normal X block without those two little nodules on the bottom.
No prob. Also, I noticed you've only gotten the Crateria area done. I made it past most of Brinstar. I do think your level designing is going well, though -) It looks good.
I see you've gone for a very bright theme. I guess this is okay. It doesn't really "work" for me but it's, well, different. I guess I like SM with a darker scheme of colors. No accounting for taste though.
Map room in Crateria has a mini-map error, maybe others, no biggie.
Possible to get stuck under the ship if you go for the item that requires PBs but don't have bombs yet.
Morph ball bombs are sweeeeet.
Minor possible graphic glitches behind one of the doors in Crateria main shaft due to scrolling. If I cut a corner right I can see bad tiling behind the door to the map room. Just put some dirt there, problem solved.
Not much else. I need to keep going. For a first hack it's good. It is more halfhack than full hack but that's okay. Don't feel obligated to make this first one too big--it's practice and you can do a full hack later if you still enjoy hacking.

Thank you Acheron for that! :D
Only Crateria shall be bright-ish in colour as delving deeper into Zebes will be like delving deeper into the darkness sort of thing (lol) :P
I shall work on the tiny probs and then move to next area which I will post when I have done that :)
Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the ship. Before you get the morphing ball, if you spin jump to the ship, but land under it, you can get stuck. You can fix this by either lowering the ground one tile there, or raise the ship. Or, you could lower the ship or raise the ground by one, and then it's just one square.
Supermetroid1990: Do NOT move the ship. It misaligns the point where you go into the ship or will make your ship look like a big pile of glitch (see one room hack). Just erase a tile underneath it.

Okies thank you for that! I won't be moving the ship because its easier to just make the blocks under it all solid :)
Good idea... I didn't think of that, making the air solid. However, when you get the morphing ball, don't you at least want the possibility of being able to go under it, just for fun? It makes more sense just to lower those blocks one square.
