I don't think you can get that e-tank without glitches after Phantoon is dead, however if you can decipher this:

DMantra> froze enemy in the right spot to kneel-jump up. which ran the risk of perma-stuck if i killed it. but i managed to freeze it again and get out

then you can perform the glitch to get in there, get it, and get out.

Before Phantoon it's a lot easier to get since the passage directly under it is open.

Oh crap. Oh well. I dont know how I missed that before I killed phantoon. It wouldv'e made everything a lot easier since I only had 1 E-tank at the time.

I'm in the Plasma Beam room, but i don't know how to get it, can somebody help me?

You can only get to the plasma beam by coming into that large room from the bottom left. Basically, if you're in the upper part of the room, there is NO way to get the plasma beam. You have to leave and enter proto-tourian from the south and work your way up. Try entering proto-tourian from western brinstar (near the elevator to crateria). Once inside prototourian if you get stuck: look for a place to power bomb the ceiling.

I'm lost in Prototourian too. I'm at the Map Room, and can't figure out where I need to go next. I found the hidden passage in the tunnel before the green gate (coming from the Blue Brinstar entrance) but the door it leads to is metal.

If it helps, I have everything but the Plasma Beam (Ridley and GT were hell, even with savestates), 140 missiles, 50 supers and PBs.

Well, i found a place to power bomb the ceiling, but it takes me to a dead end, my only guess is that i have to defeat Draygon (correct me if i'm wrong)

The room directly to the left of the one that screenshot is taken at also has a place to PB the ceiling in. There's a useless platform at the top far left of the room where you can set it off.

That did it. I'm pretty happy with my 4:31 and 88%, especially considering that was the only spot I had to ask for help at this time around.

What do I do in this room? Or, if I'm in the wrong room, where do I go? I currently have

high jump, grapple, morph ball and bombs, varia, power bombs, missiles, super missiles, and a reserve tank, as well as 5 energy tanks.

Also, is it possible to get any other beams yet? I know it's possible to get charge, where is that?

I kind of can't find my way to Tourian. Ive beaten all bosses and got all major upgrades except Spring Ball. There's a gray door in a big room with Space Pirates in Crateria and some speed booster blocks in the lower left of the starting room with Samus' ship that I dont know how to get through.

Anyone might have a clue for me?

if you enter prototourian from northeast brinstar, theres a big room where you need to power bomb through the ceiling. not sure if you've already been up there yet, since i havent played dependence in along time and cant remember the order, but alot of people seem to get stuck at that point.

I'm stuck right now in Dependence and I don't know where to go. I've beaten Crocomire, Kraid, and Phantoon, have 175/45/55/grapple/x-ray, charge, ice, spazer, Varia and Gravity Morph Ball, Bomb, Spring Ball, Hi-Jump Boots and the Speed Booster. Where do I go next?

Go to prototourian and power bomb through the ceiling. (Alot of people get stuck at that part so I'm just guessing that that's where you're stuck)
