Actually I'm way behind, I had one long playing segment but then I have not had time to play it... Also I got a little lost and was unsure if I did something unintended (uhm, backwards blue gate under water with a missile?).

You mean in the waterlogged room full of blue demon imagery and a dead explorer? The only thing is there's no missile that I recall in that room (well, there is, but its behind blocks you shouldnt be able to break yet and thus you shouldnt be able to see it)

Well I've only had about 30 minutes total to play but I have five missiles, the charge beam, and no tanks. I IBJ'd up to a room full of water from the start of red brinstar and into a room with an e tank behind a super missile block, and from there found my way back in the room where I got the morphball with a ton of giant sidehoppers. I can't kill the ones up where the morphball was. Am I supposed to be going this way? Soon I'll have gone in a big circle. I know I need a tank to make it through the suitless run in Norfair that I stumbled on...

If you're playing easy, there's a tank early on (in the missile door room right after the first missile) and a tank closer to the heated run.

If you're playing hard, there's no tank early on (so no point in going back there) but there's still the tank that's somewhat close (red Brinstar) to the run.

You should try it. I'm really loving this hack so far. Just getting the first missiles was devilishly tricky. I'm dreading the suitless heat runs a little cause I always get nervous and screw those up, but all the tricky walljumps and mid-air morphs are quite fun to figure out and pull off.

Is the missile in easy hidden differently then the original? Because the original's missiles were very straightforward.

Also, I managed to sequence break the energy tank above the noob tube. :D

Hmm.. dunno. I'm playing the original one. I haven't tried easy yet. They were strait forward, but it still took me a couple tries. *shrug*

With speed booster? That's pretty much how you're intended to get it.

Gravity Jump when the noob tube breaks. I thought you needed gravity suit. :(

ALso, how do I get the hell out of the room before springball, gravity jumps don't give me enough height.

This was one of the things I wanted to change, but it is indeed possible, as I've done it. You just have to time your jump exactly so you have max momentum when the water turns 'on'.

Are any gravity jumps required in easy? Because I understand them in theory, but I've never really been able to get them to work right.

Also, I just got grapple. That was quite a lengthy ordeal. I've seen a couple places where I can use it but now I won't get to play until tonight. Damn work. I've got morph, bombs, ice, charge, speed, 15M, 2E and grapple. I don't doubt I've missed an accessible missile or tank (or two), but am I about where I should be equipment wise?

If you're playing easy, you're one e-tank behind where you 'should' be but I dont think it's a big deal, as I skipped that e-tank in my speedier run of easy.

Also, the gravity jump rooms are still in the easy ver but they're *ahem* easier.

I couldn't time it right. I found a way around an obstacle YET AGAIN :D. It's much easier in that gravity jump room to wall jump near the hole at the top and then time it so that you gravity jump off the wall. And ta da, you fly through that pesky hole.

Edit: SO is the only reason you have springball to get out of the place you WENT to get springball? >_> I see no other use.

Har har, that's what you think. The Springball is actually the key to this hack. There's like 3-4 important passages that require it.

Just finished the grapple section. I'd just like to say, Dmantra, the room with the messed up eyes scared the shit out of me.
