Holy hell Ridley is tough! Any tips on how to take him down? I'm on easy version.

Depends on what you're packin', I don't think he's much tougher than the original Ridley if you have plasma/charge and some e-tanks to spare. If he's too hard go item hunting I guess? Sorry, there's no real "trick" to him besides dodgy-dodge-dodge.

I have a good one...it's about the first hits actually. Charge a plasma(stand in front of him and aim with R-button to his head) and shoot him as soon as he takes damage(when he lights up). Now quickly switch to P-missiles and shot as many you can while he's flying up...jump and shoot to get an extra last hit. NOW SAVE...and you can replay from here everytime you die. When he bounces with his tail on the ground(tail to the left side) you can stand on the right edge aiming/shooting up and he's not able to grab you.

I'm only packing 20 Supermissles at this time. Should I go out and look for more. I do have Charge + Plasma though. I also hit him with the Powerbomb shot right at the beginning of the battle.

How many E-tanks do you have?? And I hope you have Varia suit

Discussed earlier in the thread, but to get it you'll have to use very talented speedballing (speedbooster + mockball + springball)

It's probably the hardest item to get in the game as far as technical precision is concerned.

Cliffhanger EV isn't ridiculously hard, maybe more or less between the lines of Golden Dawn, Redesign and Limit. Although since of no save points, it's near impossible to play on console or on a no-state flash emu (that's the stated obvious).

Reminds me of playing some good or crappy songs while playing this (I'm not counting the dedicated Cliffhanger playlist).
