Ok i made this acc. to add this error (i think) i get, when i speed booster back from where u get it at the end of Hells run i think its called. it doesnt activate i just run faster like im doing it  Question help appreciated, maybe i patched wit the wrong super metroid file. file reads Super_Metroid.smc

When in heated areas without the suit, the damage Samus takes will interrupt the speed booster effect (but not the speed). You don't need to use speed booster in any heated areas in Cliffhanger anyway (although you can get an easy twenty missiles if you know where to look!).
UnSealed And UnBound
Thx for clearing it up for me, Hopefully i complete this by the time Aegis is released, Dont want to go thro trying to complete 2 metroid hacks at the same time again. :-D
I went through that area without a suit (eastern norfair) and I only got one missile.  :-s *checks smile* ah hah hah, tricky...

Actually...

Wouldn't that be 25?  Because I went there again just to look and make sure and there was another missile (upgrade) in the the bottom right chozo statue (I think it was).

Unless that was some kind of glitch. :-s

Edit: Like what happens where you get MB.  Wink

Breathe in the Future, Breathe out the Past
Wow. 30 pages.
Well, after 5 hours and 36 in-game minutes, i've finally finished this hack.  Items collected:  86%, all lores collected.

Hard mode.  I really enjoyed this hack as it progressed, though I was having a bit of trouble in the early stages.  I guess it just takes a minute to get into that "bomb everything, everywhere" mindset.  After the path became more obvious, I started to enjoy the challenges thrown at me.

There are a few particularly gruesome puzzles I can think of off the top of my head.  "The tank" as people seem to be calling it, was really fun to get.  I think your hack is the first to incorporate speed-springballing as well.  I was almost going to make an SMV, but since quite a few have gotten it, its not too big of a feat.

The other one that sticks in my head is the pool of eyes.  I loved the creepiness of this part and the puzzle just added to the effect.  I think it was harder in my case though, since I had to bomb-jump to break the surface of the water.  I couldn't seem to wall jump out.  :x

There are a couple others that I can't remember, but I think this hack is almost as hard as impossible, in its own way.  Thanks for making this hack.

Actually it's not as uncommon as you think.  :P
Hated by all
Yeah, I have a problem of how to go next, see attachment.

There is an out-of-the-ordinary block in the floor...do you see it?

Thanks. Now, I have to do some painful wall-jumping.
I'm stuck in the same area but this is my problem..
Should I go up or left just above the lava?I hate grapple beam
Go up using an ibj after grappling.

PS you can take screnshots in the emulator you know? Are you pasting the screenshot in paint?

Yes i'm pasting it in paint...by the way what stands "I" for in IBJ? I know it's a bomb jump. Is it In air bomb jump it stands for?

Infinite.  Meaning you can keep doing it forever if there were no ceiling.  You're juggling yourself upward with each successive explosion.

And just in case you don't know the pattern...  Once you get it going - try to imagine a short string is tied to a bomb in Samus's body.  As she is falling from the height of her previous blast - this imaginary string would pull the bomb out and place it in the air.  Each time she begins to fall - place a bomb.

Or maybe you already know (if you've made it this far)...  Then nevermind.  :P

Edit: There are, of coure, various ways to IBJ.  You can (practically) hover, or even place the bombs so that you climb much faster.  Like placing 2 bombs in the right places just so far apart....
Alright, I seem to be stuck in the same general area as you guys as well...

When getting past the heated rooms on the right side of (what would be) Norfair (sorry, I'm still trying to learn the names of your areas). I go to the left and get through the flying trapeze parts with my grapple beam, I come to a dark room. I wall jump up to the next dark room where some of those 'smiley' face enemies are dropping from the ceiling. I froze them and climbed my way up to the upper left side of the room. To my dissapointment it was just a pack of missles and not the path forward. As taking the door on the bottom right of the room, leads you back to the area with the health & missle refuling stations, right before the first hells run.

Was there something more I was to do in here? If not, where do I go from here?
I hope you don't have the first version:

Go back to the end of the grapple-ibj area and you'll see a spike structure. Bomb it.

you don't need a suit. the shinespark is weird in that room 'cause of the fx1 i added to it. stand by the spiky thing and run towards the wall. You may need to quick charge, which you should have no trouble doing as you did a way harsher one to get into kraids lair.
need a little hint... last item found was springball and plasma beam... don't know where to go next... in which area should I look closer ?
