The room where you swing over the acid in keruarn where you have to go into a ibj (as seen in the video)... Do I have to go through that twice? Because -unless I missed something- All I got out of there was

a missle upgrade and an e-tank.

There has to be a way from that gray door to the lift area.

Edit: Sheesh. What a croc. :P

How do I get out of the spring ball area. The door locked a few rooms over, and all I see is an unattainable super missile, some tubes that I can't bomb, and a backwards blue gate.

You need to go back through the way you came. There's flashing water correct? Time it so that you jump RIGHT before the water appears and you should have a massive height boost.

I got back into WS through Keruarn, found a few missile upgrades, found the elevator to LN, but, alas, still no varia. Another hint perhaps?

EDIT: I am an idiot and missed that passage. You'd think by now I'd have learned to explore EVERYTHING. Heat resistant I am.

I already passed that part. I went through a room with quicksand that took me about a minute to roll through, and made it into this room. The door locked so I can't go back.

if you're playing the original version. you'll have to make your way to the middle row of pipes, theres a long thin platform that leads to the top row, but you'll have to crouch jump to get up, then crouch jump to latch onto the grapple points above.

varia is in eldridge, you passed it on route to LN. explore more.

Man, I am suddenly getting stuck every five minutes. I am in Lower Keruarn. The paths available to me either seem to (1) result in lava-filled death, (2) loop back to the wrong side of a blue gate where I'd need wave beam (the room with the strange square structure in the middle), or (3) lead me to the big room mentioned before that I can't figure out (the room where you "turn the lights on.") This room has speed booster blocks behind a fake blue door but absolutely nowhere I can see to spark at the right height (midair spark? Seems tough to pull off while falling like that, I'm playing on easy).

Where should I be going?

After you turn the lights on, you'll want to enter the secret door through a horizontal shinespark. You definitely have enough space to spark above. Then you have to jump past the pillar and down towards the secret door.

Finally got screw attack!...but I still cant figure out how to get into that area at the landing site ...

I know that xray is just to the right of the upper left door out of landing site, but when I shinespark over there I can only break the first two blocks, help!

EDIT: Success ! I havent done that move in a long time.

Missing the 'lore' in Keruarn.
Very few save states and most were for leaving the PC.
No slow downs.
Animals not saved (luckily left the planet 2 seconds before the explosion xD).
Original version.

Draygon is too easy with plasma and X-ray ;p

Has anyone tried to get back into Eldridge? If you machball into that room - the door at the end is gray, and some of the dust graphics and the outer edges of the bombs, even the explosions are red.

I'm sure I have your latest revision DMantra.

I guess I should mention or ask... That one room that looses the music then freezes up when you leave... I had that problem. Was that supposed to be fixed too? :?

that door will always be gray after the boss is dead, there is another way to Eldridge

Just been collecting items today. Added Hi-Jump Boots and Screw Attack to my list of stuff collected among everything else. Still amused by the fact I got Gravity before Varia (Which I still can't seem to locate mind you xD).

Haven't been able to figure out how to get back into the upper half of Eldridge. $10 says the Varia is in the upper half of Eldridge. Must be missing a blatantly obvious path somewhere there and I can't think for the life of me where it is :P.

cant remember if I found the keraurn lore, so that would be a no on the lore I guess.

That was a totally awesome hack, lots of unique ideas. Especially loved the last 1/4 of the game.

Entrance is through the rear of the ship. In the big room with all the Chozo statues everywhere, go to the bottom of the room. The elevator leading to LN is there.
