Progress so far: I just found Screw Attack, making my inventory complete. Now to find Draygon, whom I apparently missed while on the way to one of the upgrades.
Awesome game DMantra. A perfect mix of challenge and exploration in my opinion, though at times the paths were quite hard to find. Thank god I found X-Ray Scope.
Also, this Brin is probably the creepiest one of them all:
Do I need to do a stutter charge here? There doesn't seem like enough room for a short charge. Am I even in the right place after getting SB?
edit: \/\/\/ Well, shit. Any tips on pulling it off? I know you have to hit run everytime her front foot hits the ground, but is there anything else that'd make this way easier?
I agreesomewhat. Everytime I advance, I dread it, since I will always have to go through the entire planet again, and most of the time I miss what I'm supposed to find.
That's mostly an issue with the hard ver I think - you wouldn't dread it in the easy ver since you don't have to go through hard as hell trix areas to search for new passages.
Currently at the entrance to Eldridge attempting to think of a way to get the "taunt tank" before going in deeper. Nothing I've tried thus far is working :P.
Very nice hack, Dmantra. I loved almost all the puzzles and they were very creative and intuitive. Tourian was especially interesting, with the _______________ (editted out spoilers) and such. Freaky statues ftw man! Bosses weren't very hard, and were actually like a break from the real hack :)
The things I didn't like were: the story-it was kind of farfetched IMO and didn't make much sense to me... smuggling metroids? it's not like space pirates are like drug dealers on teh black market. The area names were kind of weird-sounding also. The sense I got from them was just "lol Juolbrin".
All in all EXCELLENT hack. It's up there with Golden Dawn and Redesign.
Edit: Forgot to mention: Cardweaver and your hacks had puzzles and such that I implemented in my WIP hack in EXACTLY the same way, its really weird. >_> I might have to take more stuff out of this hack to be.

It's a sort of unique take on the Metroid universe. Makes it out to be more like one of those gritty space smuggler scifi novels/movies than the traditional EVIL EMPIRE space pirates. And technically, when you consider the name 'space PIRATES' smuggling does make sense.
Also, it won't ever make complete sense to you unless you've played a certain RPG...

Noooo don't compromise, just note that it's a bizarre coincidence.
Well, I'm offically stumped on the "tease-tank" now. Everything I've tried has failed miserably :P. Looks like I'll have to go on without it for now (Even though I don't enjoy leaving E-Tanks behind :P).
