This is the farthest I've gotten, so I don't even know its configuration  teach

Edit: springball hint:
the ball of spring lies majestically beneath the tube of noobs  aiwebs_016

Edit2: shit

Well I meant what you could see of the config from the pic I showed.

Quote from Cardweaver:
Um... So I worked very hard to get there without springball, only to find I need the damn wave beam too? This is in the landing site; is whatever that gate guards any good? AKA, worth going back through the trouble after I find the wave beam and springball?

Its worth it if you want to make finding other items easier *hinthint*

Quote from Cardweaver:
Oh, and I still have no idea where to go next. Any hints about springball's location would be greatly appreciated.

Head towards the noobtube. You've got pbs now right?
According to the picture, I would say some kind of morph ball SB jump  aiwebs_023
It definitely can be described as aiwebs_023

It's pointless. Give up. Nice effort though!
Woot. Got springball and plasma. Barely made it out of the area though; acid filled escape room.... honestly.

Now I have the same problem as bolognab had. Gotta find Varia.
Just started tonight and this is very good so far. The charge beam was fun but now I can't find the supers or whatever I need to get an e-tank for norfair.
Can't believe I'm stuck again, I have SB and ice on surripere but can't seem to find anywhere to use it. There's one SB place that led me to a water area with grapple points, another that I can't pass through since there's not enough room to run, and one that leads to a power bomb wall. Backtracking didn't seem to help at all either.

Edit: Western Surripere. Landing Site. Investigate.

Explain this pb wall. is there maws there?
You bet there's maws. It's in the room up-left from the ship.

Trust in the maws. they will guide you to places unknown.
Lol. I want to give them all doggie treats now :-)
Press select twice, then fire. Consider the treats delivered.

In other news, I'm so lost. I'm gonna have to start drawing a map of which rooms lead to one another. I keep going in circles that are large enough that I can't remember where I'm going next. That, and plasma didn't seem to open up any new paths...

It opens up holes in enemies bodies  :D/
I'm stuck in Kraid, just after the mini Kraid. There's a crack in the wall I can roll into, but I can't go anywhere after that. To the right is a blue gate I can't open.

You cant see the path in there, but if you jump and morph, you should be able to land on the top of the gate to open it.
Come to think of it... is there any use at all for spazer? I got plasma <5 minutes after getting spazer, barely used it at all.

They're both side quests, and you can get spazer a bit earlier. Plasma may be very early for a hack, but it works out in the end.

Just found varia. I think I'm done for the night. Though I gotta get moving! I have to beat this by tomorrow night, or else it will be dealyed for a week. Damn personal life... always in the way of my hack-type fun  :(

edit: Nope, just found a big ol' room that was new, and I assumed it housed an item. after thorough searching, it did not. Yet another reason to call it a night.
I was bored so I wasted a few hours making my first TAS:

.smv below in case you want to critique my inputs or somthing.

Where do I have to go after getting Speedbosster and the 2nd E-Tank (Easy version).
I found this morphball passage in the elevator room (down to Keruarn), but cannot find the way to the right door.
Speedbooster Morphball up there ?

you want to build up a charge, morph, then ss up. it requires a quickcharge, but it's very easy to execute. start running a few steps then press forward again.

BUG REPORT:

This snapshot is just to the left of Samus' ship.  If you jump and then morph right by this ceiling as if you were trying to lay a bomb against the ceiling,  Samus gets sucked up into the ceiling and gets stuck.  It happens everytime, you should be able to duplicate it on first try.  If this is the pre-bomb stuck glitch that has already been addressed and I'm too blind to find it in this thread and need a new patch, then sorry for bringing it up again.

BTW, this hack is F**KNG AWESOME.  I love it!  The creativity, the cleverness of the room layout, the idea of a whole new story, it's genius.  This is the hack I think I've been waiting for.  I'm just getting started, and I'm totally impressed. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU (bows at DMantra's feet)

I'm checking out the glitch now to see if there's any unnecessary slopes there. Thanks for enjoying my hack!  grin new
