Started the hack yesterday.

Current Equip:
- Morphball
- Bombs
- Speed Booster

- 2 Tanks
- 5 Missiles

How do I get to Kraid?

I`m in the room behind Mini-Kraid and already discovered the morph tunnel in the upper left corner. Right track or completely off?

Right track

Find a way up (while inside the morph tunnel) and get on top of the gate.

Where can I find PBs? I got super missiles and I just did a suitless run (which was pointless because it was just a large loop!) and I found 2 missile tanks during it; did I miss something?

I think, I missed the charge beam, which is bad, because I`m low on ammo.

Yes, you did miss Charge Beam. You can get it rather early, but DMantra hid it very well, it was fun to find. Check out the elevator room with the green spikey pumpkins in Joulbrin. You can find it in there, but where in there is for you to find out.

Any clue how to get up there? I did a speed ball and this is what I got, I tried doing a shinespark against the slope on the ceiling and I just got stuck in the wall. Shocked

Alright, I'm confused as where to go from here, PBs don't seem to help at all (other than getting alot of missile tanks) Any clue as to whats next?

Can I get a hint as to what map its on? I couldn't find it in brinstar, crateria, norfair and I can't seem to get back into the wrecked ship, also I dunno if I have even found maridia yet.

The tube is how you get into Maridia. Check out Joulbrin (Brinstar) very carefully. It should be in the upper-right region of the map.

Go back to where you exited Eldridge (Wrecked Ship). You'll understand by the time you get there.

Just got plasma, i'm in the next room, if I go left I die and I cant go back out the way I came in; Could I get another hint please?

You need to go back to Norfair now, go through another heat run, and find a place where you need to use Springball.

Thanks! I still have a savestate after Kraid. I`ll give it a try.
Do I need some mindbreaking speedtrick to get it or is it just a complicated puzzle?

I'm inclined to do another speed run of normal mode and record the SMV this time, but... well, I don't remember the path. Anyone have a chart or map or something? I'm sure I'd remember if I played through again, but then I'd have to play through twice, and I don't know if I could bring myself to do that.

Yep.

I've yet to see a speedrun for this. There was a TAS project for it sometime ago but I'm fairly certain that died.

I am supposed to find grapple before supers, right?
Defeated Spore Spawn, found grapple and now I`m stuck here. (easy version)
I can not get back up there through the fragile grapple blocks, because they reappear direclty after cracking.
Any comments?
