I just checked the first post again today, and it looks like Acheron is actually almost done! Of course, he still has to do the music stuff, but for the most part I'm glad that after nearly a year and a half, this is actually nearing completion.
I've actually been steadily working on it for the last year, minus illnesses etc. However, I added on HUGE additions to previously-done areas. The map I last shared with you guys is sorely out of date... again. I also did a ton of bugfixing and made old rooms more interesting. So none of that got added to the percentage trackers.
But, yeah, I'm finally nearing completion, for real this time.

Back on topic, it hit me again yesterday just how excited I am for this hack. In the form of a boxing glove on a spring with a note saying "YOU'RE EXCITED!"

I will have to make sure I know the mockball technique by then so I can enjoy some celebratory Cider while trying to beat Aegis by my birthday, with Volta to keep me charged.
Well luckily for me, I will have all these hacks 2 days before my birthday. (November 13th)
I've finished most of the final area at this point (good news for you ladies). I'm more into fine-tuning challenge now: adding enemies in rooms to make the intended path challenging, and the non-intended ones downright brutal. I may release two versions, one for open-ended, easier playthrough and one for strict progress-oriented challenges. I'm not really sure though.
I require one-wall wall jumping and console-conditions short charge, and that's about it. You'll need to be decent with grapple beam (but nowhere near as good as you need to be for, say, Hangtime or Exia). Mockball and IBJ are never required, though you may have to IBJ if you're doing certain sequence breaks (like skipping HJBs).
I just hope you won't have a horde of underwater rooms w/out Gravity with enemies almost instant killing you in one hit *cough*. Regardless Acheron, it's great to hear that you are nearing the end after the long winded journey of creating this hack.
