i do not drink or smoke. i have yet to drink 1 beer or smoke a cigarette (too bad i'm a passive smoker because of other people)

also, i voted in 2004 and it was a waste since the politicians here suck big time :p

i spend my birthdays at home always. my family takes me to a restaurant at night every year. let's see if this year is the same as others.

I haven't had alcohol (well, communion wine, but that doesn't count), or any kind of drugs, nor do I plan to for the rest of my life.  I don't have my driver's license, but I plan to get that soon.

i only drink in foreign countries. as an american, it's my patriotic duty to be a judgmental asshole while at home, sequestered away from that horrible world outside US.

See, to me, drinking/smoking is the exact opposite of fun. Who needs other substances to have a good time with friends? I've never drank (except once)* or smoked, and I don't plan on ever getting into it.

Also, where I live, getting your licence is like, very important for a kid. 'Cause you basically can't do anything around here without having to get your parents to take you to a friend's house, which, before you're sixteen, is no big deal, but once all your friends start driving and are able to go wherever and whenever they want at the spur or the moment, you start to feel left out.

*Yoshi and nate are gonna make fun of me for that. ;(

I go to a magnet school, so all my friends live really far away...especially my girfriend.  She's already had her license for a year and a half, and I still probably won't have mine for like four months.  I just don't like driving, and I know as soon as I get my driver's license I'm going to become a chore monkey, which sucks.

As a hemophiliac, my liver kinda sucks anyway, but I'm not going to throw it away drinking or anything.

I didn't find his initial comment all that funny, but the way that he not only followed it up, but did it with a footnote totally cracked me up.  I usually use meaningless threats when I say something that'll probably get sigged when I don't want it to.  And you can blame DF for that. ;p

I picked up on that...I thought that it was funny that instead of fixing it by saying "I've only drank once" or something you went on the offensive with that footnote.

I'm not complaining, DF, as I laugh whenever I see it, but I was pretty pissed off at the time.
