Moreso just that while it might not be the "right" thing, particularly because from his perspective it might inversely actually be the right thing and as such we can't really know whether or not our opinion is actually what is right in this situation, but also that we understand and can't critisize him for how he feels.

Wow.  Nice breeze, anyone else feel that?

WTF.  I'm asking.  What are you referring to with that post.  Context is a good thing.
twenty eight fifty
you wouldn't feel bad at all if you beat one of my records; rather, you would, and should, feel victorious. go double standards.
personal feelings, to a certain extent, can and should be altered (or, if they cannot be altered, overridden) for the good of the many. i do it every day for you. when i am dead, the world will surely be a better place than if i had never lived, and that is what matters most to me.

but that's not to say it's not a struggle.

Not altered.  Ignored, I think.  Alter them and they are no longer personal feelings, so your statement becomes meaningless.  You feel bad about that emulation thing.  You didn't alter your guilt.  You ignored it.  Well, you don't really ignore it, but you had the strength to go straight through it and still kill emulation.
well, i think that even if you become someone else, that person you originally were is still out there somewhere, and you have failed them. i know, it's weird, but hey, i never claimed i wasn't. :P

Yeah, but you haven't become someone else.  You changed the community, and its collective opinions/beliefs, not yourself.  The fact that you feel terrible proves you're still the same person.  That feeling makes you who you are.  Hold on to it, and recognise it for what it is.  Joy in pain, or some shit.
Nate, TBH, you did what you felt was right.  None of us a perfect, we do things, as our minds portray only what is proper only to us, based on what we think.  To feel guilty in any way, over anything that was an opinion judged action is silly.  You feel guilty because you have hindsight now but none will judge you.  People cannot judge what is right and wrong because they are mindsets of people, built upon the actions and thier lives expierences up to a certain point.

The whole truth is, you seem to beat yourself up over this kind of thing and you only damage yourself.  I may not have posted here for a long time, but I did read these forums for a long time before joining.

But don't get me wrong, it's better that you think about your actions and decisions, rather than blindly referring back to them as a law set in stone.  It makes you a fair and good person.  Just remember, you always have our respect and our faith.

Btw, happy 8000th mzm post Izo.
thanks for that, though i do question you when you say "our" this and that ... seems as though you're not speaking for ekarderif. ;P
ekard can speak for himself.
