Just Made it to phendrana! That damn monitor station kept pissin me off. At first i thought itd be hard until i planned it, then i thought it wouldnt be too bad. Then in execution stupid things kept happening. All it takes is one accidental combat lock on the wrong puffer or accidentally killin the one you need for a reference point. Over or under shooting the jump to the upper level. Eventually i rage quit! But then my scared lil dog with her ears down and tail between her legs jumped in my lap and started licking me. Love that dog. She calmed me down then i tried again with success! Backtracking for the energy tank tomorrow morning.

lol what an animal can do to people
keep it up, looking forwards for sheegoths trolling you!!
If i manage to innfinite speed the powerbombs sheegoth will be easy.

Well i tested infinite speed :( looks like more troubles. Even if i do trigger the glitch the only way to know is by unmorphing then morphing again. After that if i lay a morphbomb the sound will not play but i will hear the morphball hit the floor after the bombjump. Unfortunately it also leaves me audibly blind (dont wana say def cause i can hear. Just cant interpret the sounds into a visual) as well. Powerbeam shoots do not give off their ricochet sound effect. Also i dont think you can scan things either. Correct me if im wrong on that. I heard that some actions take a reeeally long time to process. Perhaps the ricochet CAN come but waaay later?

Beams don't function properly when you're unmorphed while under the effects of Infinite Speed. Even though you'll hear yourself "shooting" your beams, nothing actually gets fired as far as I know. You'll have to do everything while in morph ball form if you want to use infinite speed.
Well that pretty much put the nail in the coffin for that idea. Not unless missles still work? Do visor states change anything?

Not that I'm aware of. I haven't exactly personally messed with unmorphing while in Infinite Speed (aka "lightshow") much because it's generally just a bad idea, but it's possible that I may be wrong.
Just picked up the energy tank in Transport tunnel A! 8 minute video but since my camera periodically splits the digital files every 20 minutes or so of recorded the file splits literally 10 seconds into the successful run. so im gonna have to use the edittor on youtube to combine the two videos. honestly i should prolly do that with a few other segments too but i just now realized that i could. Either way all the videos are in the process of uploading so in a few hours they will all be viewable. boost ball is my next segment.
Boostball acquired!! 27% complete 11:13 time elapsed. Boy did this segment take a LOOONG time. An hour 14 minutes. Didnt have far to travel but those crumbling platforms in phendran canyon were a pain. Then after i finally got em i got stuck in Ice ruins west withh the baby sheegoth for another 30 minutes. Somehow i got stuck inside one of the ruined buildings so i couldnt fight the baby sheegoth. Eventually i made it out and then killed em. The remainder of the time i tried finding the door. I knew i was close for a long tiime but just could get it. Finally i did and then accidentally backtracked to ice ruins west which somehow manged to resawn the baby sheegoth FML. Fortunately i made it back through the doors quickly withoout having to fight them. The rest went quick and easy!

Next up is the sheegoth boss fight! I gave up on the infinite speed idea. I wonder if sheegoth will be as hard as flaagra. I kinda doubt it. But then aaain flaagra coulda just been harder to strategize and sheegoth may end up being harder to execute! We'll see!

DID 7 MORE SEGMENTS TONIGHT!!!! Unfortunately they were all quick ammo replenishes and saves haha ;)

But i think i have the sheegoth strat figured out. At first it was lock on, morph, boost ahead while dropping bombs in between his legs, turn around, repeat! But that proved innefective. I ended up with a much simpler strategy. Right out the gate boost into the cove she burst out of and just keep droppin bombs. Thats it! She corners me and continuelly frost breaths me but my bombs still hit. Its literally just a stamina match between the two of us. I just need to make sure i have about 300 health after i take out the sheegoth babies, give or take 50.

Also the boostball videos are currently uploading. Will take several hours.

SHEEGOTH IS NO MORE!!!
28% completion 12:28 elapsed time!

So i handled the four babies like a boss! Pun intended! Beat em real quick with minimal damage which was usually kinda rare! Out the gate i try to walk around sheegoth to get into the cave area. My strat was to move forward, lay bombs and back up into the corner and repeat. The camera tends to fix pretty well in there for bein in morphball.  However my strat went RIGHT OUT THE WINDOW!!!! i only won by fluke. As i pass her by she knocks me into a corner where a proceed to lose all the health i managed to save from the babies. Were talkin like over 3 energy tanks before i can even truely begin attacking. I use my strategy a little bit but then i realize im not in the cave. So i decide to just roll around in small circles laying bombs and hopin sheegoth chases me and gets hit by em. Holy crap it worked. Didnt seem to need as many hits as usual which i noticed was te case sometimes while practicing without the blindfold. Also i could be wrong but her intro animation looked off at the end of it. Iono could be imagining things.
Anyways after i won it took me a bit to actually grab the wavebeam. Forgot i had to jump to get it off the pedestal. Then i decide to break some crates for extra energy just in case. This ultimate led to me being stuck for 40 minutes in this gigantic room with no scans, no combat locks, only one sound effect on the ground when walkin or jumping. My camera ran outa room so i had to pause and turn off the tv to make room on my camera AGAIN! Funny thing is it cut out RIGHT when i got outa the room. I just didnt realize it yet. Either way im still glad i got the extra health because the baby sheegot that spawned near the save station almost killed me. I was freaking out thinkin i was gonna have to start over! Haha. Next up, is to get to the save station thats next to the room that fills up with water! Then an enegy tank and finally supermissles! Yeee!
Went back and looked  and the intro animation was definately screwy. Instead talk her first step juuust before the fight starts, she turns her head slightly camera left. anyone know why?

Sorry it took sooooooo long to get these up. My computer kept crashing in the middle of the uploads. without further ado here are the videos for part 28 BOSS FIGHT SHEEGOTH!

part 28a  This is the trek up to and just before the actual boss fight

part 28b The actual boss fight

part 28c this is very boring. 33 minutes of me jumping around tryin to escape the Sheegoths boss room. i recomend just skipping to part 28d when its done processing.

part 28d the trek back to the savestation. i actual end up in a precarious situation against some baby sheegoth outside the saveroom.
also here are some of the past videos i hadnt actually posted here in case you hadnt seen them yet....

part 23a Artifact of nature

part 23b triclops pit missle expansion

part 24a magmoor to phendrana

part 24b magmoor to phendrana

part 25 transport tunnel A energy tank

part 26a boostball

part 26b boostball

part 27 aint worth watchin. its just an ammo replenish video.
ok part 28d is up as well. i edited my previous post so that it includes it now.
You're making good progress. Just work on memorizing the rooms better.
Yeah there are few i should have studied a little better before executing but if your refering to the boss room, my problem wasnt memorization. There are next to no reference points. No scans, the walking sound effect and jumping are identical EVERYWHERE, and there arent any notable objects to listen for via powerbeam ecolocation. I needed the extra health from the boxes but then got stuck.
The only video I watch was the Phendrana canyon (boost ball) vid, and all I know is that you lost your place when there are indeed a lot of scan references
Oh that one haha. The canyon itself i knew fairly decently. Just took many attempts to execute. I did get disoriented several times but the easiers reference was walkins on snow or walking on ice. The room with the sheegoth i should have studied more yes. Thhat room is particularly complicated though. Its also part of my next segment so i will be studying it well.

wow you're back! nice! and making progress! great! :)

so you got Thermal Visor and want to go for Tharuds next, but over 2 years ago you said (after having gotten Wave Beam and saved next to Phendrana Shorelines):

So which is it? Super Missile or Spider Ball next? I'd guess Super Missile would be helpful for Thardus, right?

Also on the cutscene when Mama Sheegoth comes into battlefield, you wrote:

Rewatch part 28b, where you kill the last regular Sheegoth; your position stays the same during the cutscene and you're so close to her that she looks at you. When the cutscene is over, your position gets reset to a fixed point, which is where you end up being as that fight against her starts. I'd imagine that's the explanation for why she behaved this way during the cutscene.

Also just a quick question: Do you have the route figured out by now? So that the community could propose improvements?^^
Also which parts do you fear most? If I were you I'd fear Prime Exo fight (not so much Prime Essence fight) and obviously Omega Pirate. Both fights boil down to knowing which beam to shoot with (for OP it's the coloured troopers not OP himself). So maybe you can ignore the coloured troopers in OP fight who knows...
