Sorry i forgot to mention i picked up the supermissles on the way to picking ip the thermal visor. Still didnt Ttempt thardus yet but he will be easy actually.

As for my route its pretty much just the natural route. I would have love to have ised the  crashed frigate bypass but its hard enough getting the bomb jump right with my sight.

The parts im fearing the most are the omega pirate since it can heal. Slow and careful just is t an option with this boss. Ridley will be a nightmare but maybe i can get luck with the boost ball glitch. Still dont fully know how to trigger getting ridley to fly thru the floor.

The fission metroid room is gonna suuuuuuuck and to top it off i have to beat both prime form after probably having most my health depleted from those annoying things. But i have discovered that there are different sounds for each form exo prime has so i can tell wich weapon to use. Wave beam is the most obvious as it sounds like electricity
Actually, there is one sequence break i may still use. The scan dash jump in the phazon mine quarry that leads to the grapplebeam. Not sure if its a useful skip or not but its definately doable. But for right now, after i beat thardus im planning on picking up the wavebuster next, and then the icebeam.

Sidenote, there is actually an old segment i never uploaded yet since my roommate mooned the camera. I was gonna blur it out or something but i dont have that kinda editing software so im just gonna cut it out. I started my run not wanting to ever cut away during the run in case anyone was ever skeptical i didnt peak or something. But after all iv done i dont care if someone wants to doubt me lol. Plus some of my segments i ran outa storage on my camera so i had to make room and keep recording. I wasnt about to start over after the progress i made haha. I just felt i should give the community full disclosure.

More on the problematic segments- as for omega pirate im planning on using the exploit that skips the cutscen and this gives you a head start on damaging him before he starts to attack back. If im lucky i may be able to kill him quick enough with the powerbombs as well. The speedrun kills him fairly quick and may be doable similarly blind....i hope. The trek leading to him is veeeeery long and complicate as well. Each room is t too hard individually but sequentially will be taxing. I expect i will need to take mental breaks and pause/turn off tv and will probably be a several hour long segment unless each room goes smoothly. Lol fat chance.

The fission metroid room has virtually NO SCANS except the metroids themselves. This will force me to use my powerbeam ecolocation almost exclusively wich is a slow process thus making me a sitting duck for the metroids. Powerbombs will easily take care of them at first and i can replenish once i reach the second level. Getting to the top however i need to reserve my powerbomb ammo for the prime essence fight. I honestly dont know if i can do it. Ut if i make it that far i wont give up easily. I expect a few broken controllers haha. I may actually stream the final showdown if i have the ability. So stay tuned for that
Why in the heck would you get wave buster lol

You can put the fission metroids in jail though which should make it a lot easier
red chamber dream
wave buster would make the ridley fight pretty simple when blindfolded. i'm having a hard time coming up with other reasons though, and getting wave buster sounds hard as hell

Phazon core has no power bomb refill Station next to it; it just refills missiles.
Also there is at least one scan point at the bottom in the orange Phazon in phazon core!
I will need the wavebuster for exo prime! Its easy to aim and deal damage quick before myself get damaged. The downfall is the rapid ammo depletion, but i think i have enough to use it at least once. There may be a few other areas where im surrounded my space pieates that it may come in handy. It should make targeting easier in general for problematic spots. The climb to pick it up will be challenging but not as bad as you may think. If i jump quick enough i can avoid the metal puffers.

As for phazon core, i considered the jail trick but may be too difficult to pull off blind but im considering it.  Daryoshi-DAMN! I thought they replenished powerbombs. Oh well :(
Also the thardus fight is uploading. Im at work so it may have finished if u search it

yay gratz on Thardus!

yes sadly it's a missile refill station and accurately named it is, doing exactly and only what you think it does..

also in Tower of Light (wavebuster room) you either have to do three dashes or do it the intended way and use 36 missiles, 3 on each piece of brick/ stone/ debris and then times 4 and then times 3 for 3 height levels = 36 missiles to hit. keep in mind that there're enemies (in singular they're called an Oculus) on 6 of those 12 pieces of brick/ stone/ debris so that makes hitting them with those missiles even more tedious when blindfolded.. maybe it's easier to do the 3 dashes there I'd imagine? not sure tho..

I only uploaded this one so far. God these take forever to upload and tend to stop progress for no reason.

As for the Tower of light i may do it naturally but i will look up the dashes if they aint too hard. I will have 100 missles when i get there. So i can miss 64 times. I found that if i shoot a missle a split second after i release the combat lock on the occulus it should hit the bricks. Eitherway it wont be too hard to hit them. I will make sure to be facing towards the next ledge when i break the last brick of each level. That way i can avoid the puffers
Sorry i havnt loaded the rest of the videos yet. My laptop got a trojan horse while uploading my videos and now im too afraid to use it until i get it fixed. I continued my run however. I picked up the energy tank in the part of magmoor caverns that requires cooling the tunnels of lava so that you can travel through in morhpball mode. I then backtracked to the beginning of phendrana because its easier to reach my gunship that way rather than jumping through lava. My next segment i take the elevator to the middle of magmoor; on the way to the elevator that leads back to tallon overworld i pick up the missle thats hanging from the rafters. It is typically done in morphball mode but i discovered a way to get it without morphball. Then from the elevator i make it to the gunship. I attempted a few time and even collected the missle but got stuck in the big room that requires a bit of a climb back up to the rest of tallon. Im re-attempting now.

It may be awhile before i can fix my computer but ebentually i will have a bunch uploaded.

Wavebuster, artifact of lifegiver, and 1 missle expansion aquired! 40% completion

The sun tower actually wasnt too bad beleive it or not. The blocks that need to be destroyed reflect powerbeam shots so it was easy to tell where i was aiming. That last few jumps were a bit nerve racking as i REALLY didnt wana fall back down. Also collecting the artifact without the gravity suit was easier than expected as well. I used that weird goofy jump (i think thats its name) and succeeded first try.

Next are two missle expansions then artifact of wild!
Goofy Jump
Just collected the 2 missles and artifact i mentioned above. Next i collect the missle in the room with the charge beam and the 1 up the spiderball track just beyond that room. The next segment will be straight for the ice beam.

Here is my route for the rest of the game after that.
-heading to the savepoint at the far end of magmoor and sequence breaking picking up the plasma beam. It will be difficult but not undoable. And this way i wont have to deal with the parasites on the tracks that spawn later in the game. It also allows other areas accesible earlier so i can reduce doublebacking.
-collecting a powerbomb expansion in phendrana. The one in the room with the two sheegoth. Then saving at phendrana shorelines. Collecting some missles and one more artifact before moving on again.
-phendrana shoreline to the middle of magmoor to collect another artifact and the powerbomb below it. The ice shredder. Saving at the end of magmoor again.
-from here i will use my powerbombs to take the backdoor into the middle of phazon mines collect the grapplebeam and
Head toward the quarry.
-head back into talon from phazon and collect the xray visor. I may collect a few expansions in the crashed frigate on that side of the map. Maybe collect at the end of the game after i get the gravity suit. My save will be next to the ice beam so i can collect the missle expansion that requires powerbombs and spiderball. It has all the parasites walking along the track. Save at the same spot.
-head back into phazon and go through it in its entirety collecting everything as i go. After defeating omega pirate and collecting the artifact requiring phazon as well as a few more missles, i will take the elevator that leads to the wnd of magmoor.
-take elevator to the middle of phendrana. Collect everything in the giant loop on the way to picking up the gravity suit then head. Ack to the begining of the chozo ruins to collect the powerbomb expansion and the last two missles nearby. Save at gun ship.
-collect the remaining space frigate expansions and save at gun ship.
-collect the last two missles that require plasma beam and xray visor in that big room. Save T gunship.
-go fight ridley
-go fight prime
