Good point. A closer look reveals the map nowhere near matches the shape of Brinstar on the overall map.

Not only that, but Brinstar and Crateria aren't the only two areas anymore. Remember, there's the Chozo ruins somewhere on the surface, and possibly another Wrecked Ship.

Here. I guess they're in Crateria, but it looks like it'll be a big chunk of Crateria.

Ooh, thanks. Looking at the metroid.com map I agree, they're probably in Crateria, unless they're the area where the wrecked ship is in Super?

For the most part, isn't that portion of the Brinstar map the same as the entirity of the original one?
