I have a question. When you turn the sound up on your GBA, does it use the batteries up faster than if the sound is all the way down? And if it does, does it use more power when it's louder or not?

Ready and willing.
I know volume drains batteries quite a bit faster, but I'm unsure whether it's simply the volume level or the actual sound being produced at the time (tho I'm leaning toward the latter).
I'm sure the strength of the sound will effect the battery usage, if only minamally... It will make a difference over a period of time.
One thing that will drain the batteries faster, and that is saving your game in Sword Of Mana.
yeah, iirc it was like a 10-20% decrease in battery life on some other device i was reading about, probably some kind of laptop. but yeah, based on my pathetic knowledge of electricity, a speaker producing sound should use more power than a speaker not producing sound.
I think it does take more power. Once my light turned red so I turned the sound all the way down and the light turned back to green, so I'm guessing it takes more Question
