Her arms look unrealistically small... sort of out of proportion. The curvature of her body seems weird too... like if we're seeing the side of her face, it seems as though her torso should look like it's twisting more if her ass is facing us. The suit armor does look pretty cool though; I like the quasi-organic looking parts.
The bicep looks much better. The bottom windows look much cleaner as well. Her wrist/hand still looks a bit small and T-Rex-ish to me though. Definitely looking forward to future work on this character.
RT-SSJ I was following a style of art called hard-edged painting or hard-edged abstractionism. Kinda uses hard lines, color fields. Sometimes the lines are thick, sometimes thin. My preference went to thick. Thanks for the comment!
Also, Here are some prints and cards for sale. I'll upload larger artwork (and/or on my Blog) here sometime soon.
I love the one with the wolves in the mist. I also think it's the mist itself that makes the picture appealing. That, and my lurve for snow, of course!
*I love snow because we never get any where I live.
Snow is a pain in the ass, where I live anyway. The temperature fluctuates enough so the snow on the ground transforms into a coat of solid ice, which makes walking around next to impossible -.-; (top that off with gale-force winds and I'm totally not a happy camper.)
Don't get me wrong. Snow's nice to look at, it's pretty when it falls, and provides some nice backdrop for scenes/games/movies/etc.
But, it's a pain-in-the-ass when you have to interact with it! Driving through is the worst. Shoveling is a close second.
Actually, that reminds of a time when a friend from Florida, who was coming to school here in Michigan, said something to the effect of, "I don't see what the trouble with snow is, it doesn't seem to be that bad."
To which, half the people in glass asked, "did you have to drive through it?"
I guess the thing with snow is that it's all relative. People who live with it every day are quite tired of it, whereas those that never see it think it's great.
The problem with the English weather is that it never makes its mind up as to what it wants to do on any given day. That's why we have such a reputation for talking about it. The reason behind it is that if it rained, we could deal with it; if it snowed, we could deal with it; if it's hot, we could deal with it, but it's all the change within one day that gets annoying. When you have a day where it's raining in the morning, bright sunshine for lunch, and then heavy frost in the evening, you have to just give up and go with the flow.
