Hello...
I read all threads (in this forums) AFTER the release and have some major questions, if someone's so nice to answer me please :

- How many kinds of Doors are in the Game?
- Screw Attack in the game? If yes like in the "walljump videos"?
- Walljump possible?
- How many areas are in the game?
- With which Items do you start the game?
- Is there some kind of narrator? Or how's the story told?
- How are the controls?
- Same Font (I liked it, does anyone got it?) like in Prime for the Menues and Scans?

So, enough for that... I don't want to annoy you.

By the way this is my (2^6)th post^^

1. 8 I believe
2. Yes, it limits to 5 Screw Attacks in a row however.
3. Yes but only on special surfaces. You technically walljump off anything but you can't change direction in midair so it's useless otherwise.
4. 5 areas, just like Prime minus the Frigate.
5. 5 Missiles, Charge Beam, Space Jump, Boost Ball, Morph Ball, Morph Ball Bombs, and Varia Suit
6. U-Mos is the replacement Adam. He does, unlike Adam, shut up every once in awhile so it's not bad really.
7. Identical to Prime except some minor changes. TBJ and dash-jumps are eliminated but L-Lock and ghetto remain alive and well.
8. Bananas
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
Also some notes on Ekardif's stuff:

1. The door colors are as follows:
Blue
Black
White
Gray
Red
Green
Purple
Yellow

4. Technically, I don't think you can count the Great Temple as much of an "area."  It's like a total of six small rooms and two big ones.  It's more of an extension of the Temple Grounds.  Though each area is enormous--there's no small Magmoor caverns type levels, and each area has a Dark World version.  So there's a lot of exploring to do. :)

5. You may start out with those items, but you lose all of them very soon after starting except for the Varia Suit, Morph Ball, and Charge Beam.

6. U-Mos is only kind of like Adam.  Shuts up once in a while?  He shuts up for 95% of the game.  U-Mos is nowhere near as annoying nor as omnipresent as Adam.  He doesn't tell you where to go and what to do other than the name of the area to go to.

8. The font looks the same to me.
Temple Grounds
Agon Wastes
Torvus Bog
Sanctuary Fortress

And something resembling the Impact Crater ;)

So that's 4.5 zones I guess. I wasn't counting the Great Temple separate by the way.

And yes, U-Mos >>>>>>>>>> Adam.

Thanks!

So... and:

Any oldschool Song in the game, except "Brinstar Red Soil Area" ? (Hydrodynamo Station)
The dead boss music is the Item Room from the old school Metroid games.
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
The Green Brinstar song from Super Metroid is the default Multiplayer song, too.
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
Shortly into the game, the song from Super Metroid that played when Samus tells you about what happened in Metroid 1 and 2 plays in this, as well as

the 'escape song' from Metroid 1/Zero Mission is also in the game
Actually, to be technically correct, there are 12 door types in the game, not 8.  The other 4 door types are what I fondly(not the dripping sarcasm) call "Fusion Doors".

These are special doors designed to keep us from reaching certain areas before x amount of time.

They are unlocked by scanning and have a color code(purple, yellow, green, blue).  To open these doors, you must have reached a certain place in each area which allows you to scan a new color coded "fusion" door type and open it.

Now, to add into all this, certain critical fusion doors which are blocking off access to new areas will have a force field around them until you complete the prior area.  So, unless we find a way to sequence break a few certain regular door types, you have to access each new area in order.  Once you gain access, however, you are free to return and explore at will.

There's also that kind of vine thing that pops up to block doorways in Dark Aether when you're fighting certain sort-of-major enemies. You can scan the vine covering thing, and it counts as a Research entry in your Log Book. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
Bah, as in that thing that appears when you have to fight the Ing Warriors to get the 3rd key in the Agon Wastes?!?! Please tell me that thing is gonna show up again.
I hope it does, since if I missed yet ANOTHER one time scan...  Evil or Very Mad  Evil or Very Mad
I've never seen that thing anywhere else..sorry. :(

If you have some slots you aren't using, IMO it would be good to take advantage of copy files.

So you have seen it then, kip? I'm almost positive it's a one-time scan. I think it is when you're fighting the Ing warriors for the key. It wasn't my third key though, it was my first, I think, or my second.
Well that sure blows :(

I'll need to make sure I know where everything is before my next run
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
It's that webtrap thing.  Tim says it's a one-timer.

Battleground-Dark Agon Temple Key #3 (after getting Light Beam).

I missed a different one-timer last time through.  :(
red chamber dream
It's not necessarily the third key though, but yeah.
I think I saw something like that a little bit after getting the light beam. It was comparable to those big webs you knock down with the power beam except it needed to be hit with the light beam I think. It was blocking a corridor. Since then I haven't seen this one again. Are you talking about this thing?

Or are you talking about the thing that resembles it and is the size of a door that covers a door in Dark Agon while you fight the Ing and disappears after you defeat them?
red chamber dream
The second one is the only one that I've seen. I'm positive that's it.
I got too caught up fighting the Ing to scan it. :\

I am sure I scanned the other thing I mentioned but I can't remember if it was a logbook entry. I'll look through my log next time I play.

Actually it is, that key's name is Dark Agon Temple Key #3 when you grab it and look at it in your inventory.

And the Webtrap is a 1-timer.  It's pretty easy to get; what with after the cutscene of if growing over the door is over, you are looking directly at it when you regain control.
red chamber dream
Oh, I thought they were just numbered in the order you got them. But I guess I didn't really check my Log. But I meant that you don't have to get it third.
