Nah, he's more like a formerly sheltered honky from the burbs getting so hyped about living alone that he feels compelled to try anything and everything.
My brother and I just caught up on the first five episodes of Korra. Happy to see things are still as high quality as ever. It's certainly interesting seeing where that world went in the future and the overall plot sounds like it'll be good as well. Can't really say I have a favorite character yet though. So far at least none of them have really jumped out from the rest for me.
If you had good enough LSD, you wouldn't even need a TV to watch it on!
how hard would it be to get in Cali, and how much would it cost?
LSD's very different from other drugs in terms of production and distribution. Even during the height of its popularity in the 1960's, there was probably only a handful of labs in the world. Making LSD is extremely complicated and basically requires a background in chemistry. It also requires very expensive equipment. It's not like refining leaf juice (cocaine) or combining household chemicals and hoping they don't explode (meth).
It's also not distributed in kilos - one tablespoon of pure lsd is enough to fuck up a million people. The molecule is also very fragile. Exposure to sunlight or higher temps destroys the drug. Hell, even just time itself makes it fall apart. Other drugs don't really have an expiration date like that, making distribution an even bigger challenge.
I doubt there are more than 2 or 3 labs in the world at this time. One is most likely in California, and the other(s) are either also in CA or in northern europe.
yeah, and didn't timothy leary or someone supposedly say that today's acid is nowhere near as strong as it used to be? i think it's because no one make it very pure anymore. so maybe that's why it it's still very cheap and relatively easy to find.
It's cheap because you can literally make millions of doses in one batch, and you have to sell it relatively fast. SWIM used to get 100 doses for $30, then sell each dose for just $5.
Plus, I think people who deal with acid aren't really trying to get rich. They're even known to give it away for philosophical reasons. Acid is really very very different than other drugs.
