When I lived in Texas roaches and ants were just a fact of life. It didn't matter how clean you were. If you were in an apartment then at some point some tenant in the building allowed an infestation to take hold, and once that happens everyone in the building will have roaches always. If you live in a house, same thing - if anyone who lived there before let the roaches get a foothold then the house was infested forever. Ants seem to materialize out of thin air if there's anything for them to eat, so you have to keep things like cereal, sugar, crackers, etc in the refrigerator or in an airtight container.
i heard roaches don't show up in your home because its filthy, but because the kind of poeople who don't care about getting rid of them are also the one's who don't care about keeping their place clean
Lol of course the endgame of mindlessly copying japanese animation cliches onto a western production would be copying their awful handling of transitioning into 3D
Afaik this crap is actually rendered in high framerate and then set to 20 fps to "make it look hand-drawn"
Yes, apparently they're being serious when they say that
i'm reserving judgment until the show is out. yeah it sounds like they're imitating 2d because otherwise they'd have to add shitloads of motion blur on the characters. i think it's something i can get used to very quickly
what i don't get is why it's not just 2d though. i mean, budget, obviously, but netflix is also doing matt groening's new show and that's all 2d and looks great
yo grenola what's it called when you lightly touch the strings with your fretting hand to get that squealing sound? i'm guessing it's some kind of harmonic
