I accidentally broke my AudioTechnica AH900X's, it's just the cord wires broken and I even went out and bought a soldering iron and all the materials to fix it... but after spending about 3 hours of my weekend trying to get it working nothing worked so I gave up. Said fuck it, I'll just buy something that has a detachable cable

My throat is getting better but the doctor says not to eat anything solid for about another week. Defiantly not risking it because I don't want a 3rd surgery

I never had an account there but I read bits of it from time to time, it's generally been the best place to get breaking news on gaming stuff, a lot of developers (used to?) post there, there were people who would leak industry secrets and what have you

it was sort of understandable after gamergate, I mean I don't think anyone in good faith can allow their forums to be used as a rallying point for online harrassment campaigns against women game developers, but it has swung too far the other way now in my opinion and has been heading into thought police territory for quite a while
