Laffo whoops made the mistake of looking at Facebook and there's peeps going off about how cool it is to have tanks rolling down the street instead of how it's actually kinda fucked up that there's tanks rolling down the street toward City Hall. There are very few situation where I want cross paths with a tank!

some of our roads are so bad people have resorted to this kind of thing to try to get them fixed lol

They slap some rubber pads or something on the treads so they don't fuck our roads up. Lord knows we couldn't afford to repair the damage!

Our highways are supposedly specced for many things most of which, if I had to guess, they are not. I'm sure you could land a 757 on one if you wanted but I doubt that was the goal. We're not what you'd call thinkers over here.

also local businesses can pay to get signs up along certain highways, and the money goes to maintenance

it's funny, i drive by one that's for a weed dispensary on the way to work - "this highway sponsored by starbuds"

I was reading another thing somewhere about how the weed states have to drive armoured cars full of banknotes around since technically federal law forbids them from doing it through the banking system

well I've encountered dealers in the UK that let you pay by card lol, so if you can manage to do it in a country where it's completely illegal then I'm sure a way can be found in a country where it's half illegal
