Stupid coworker:

I created email templates for common emails that need to be sent, and it auto-populates the subject line by taking info from 3 different fields within our support records. Sometimes the combined info exceeds 100 characters, and if you try to hit SEND then a window pops up telling you that the subject line cannot exceed 100 characters. The combined maximum characters from the 3 fields is 107 characters, so it rarely even exceeds 100 and when it does all you need to do is delete or abbreviate stuff. This stupid woman I work with has refused to use the templates for over a year claiming that they don't work. She's in trouble for having low productivity and my boss is jumping through hoops trying to help her increase her speed, and the email templates are a huge time saver, so my boss had me meet with her to determine why she's claiming that they don't work.
I explained the 100 character rule to her, and her response was 'Well how the hell am I supposed to know that it can't exceed 100 characters!?' to which I replied 'Because a window comes up and tells you that EVERY SINGLE TIME.' Flustered, she then tries to tell us that even if she had read the error message, she wouldn't know that she would have to reduce the number of characters in order to get the email to send properly. Really? Where do they find people this stupid?

Y'know, I think the reason I'm not motivated to work on any of my video game ideas is because I need to make the game I wanna play, and I don't actually wanna play very many games these days.

I feel like I've seen 'most everything and none of it impresses me anymore. So why would I expect anything I can make to be any different? Last new (new to me) game that I played and thought was truly special/original was Undertale.

I think it's also because my mental energy is monopolized by work right now. Any hobby that requires effort is just odious to me by the end of the day, even if otherwise enjoyable.
