And for the record she also is fine with me being there, if anything WANTS me there above all else, and is fine with the group sex involving females and me trying things out with them, but it just isn't how I work. I tried a foursome once awhile back and it just didn't settle with me well at all..

Well this is shity and something you absolutely don't want to hear, but you two are just incompatible sexually and that's not going to change. It's at too base a level for either of you to "get over it" or work around it. You're going to have to cut your losses here or you're going to make each other miserable.

Yeah pretty much what I thought too. I played with the idea that maybe it's something I could enjoy or get used to or something but I just don't think it'll make either of us happy. It sucks but that's just how things go.

Those kinds of relationships can and do work for the right people. I know a couple who has an open relationship where they have casual sex with others, sometimes together, sometimes not. They've been together for 15 years, married for 8 I think.

But if you're not into that I don't think it could ever work with someone who is.

Yeah, I don't think it's fair to say that open relationships can never work. But you both have to be into it completely. It takes the right set of people. Very often a couple will think they are those people when they are not and that's when it falls apart.

I'm at a point where I just want the people I love to be happy. If my sweetie slept with someone else, I wouldn't be angry about it. Even if he fell in love with that other person and wanted to be with them, I still wouldn't be mad at him. I honestly just want him to be happy, and if that's what makes him happy then so be it. Seeing him happy makes me happy. I would be hurt if he lied to me about these things though.

Crud I really need to get a new job. My boss has been so terrible to me this past week. She has no idea how we do our jobs, and when problems come up she proposes solutions that will only make the problem worse, and when I tell her why the 'solution' will not work, she defies me and so we go ahead as instructed, only to see my prophecy come true as I knew it would. This has happened very publicly three times this year, and she's taking out her embarrassment and insecurities on me. Why, why, why do employers put people in charge of depts that they have no experience in at all?! I've learned my lesson and going forward I will be sure to keep my mouth shut every time she tells us to do something that I know will only make things worse, but that's just as frustrating as the fallout from speaking up. Ugh.

I wouldn't be surprised if she frames me or blames me for something to cover her own ass. That way she can deflect blame and get rid of the person who knows she's incompetent.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure that's an easy way to get canned. Policies look good on paper, but that's about it. I've been in management and it's very common to get rid of the whistleblower.
