You'd need a way to incentivise being altruistic if you want it to work. Make spreading the wealth more appealing than keeping it. And I don't know how the hell you'd do that.

Humans strive to put themselves in the most advantageous position possible. It's our nature. Selflessness on that scale is an anomaly, not the norm. We see people band together in small communities and think that can work nationally, but it can't. It never will. We aren't programmed that way.

I think it's better for society and yourself ultimately, but you may not live to see it or may not realize it. It would promote growth in theory. We need more people like Jonas Salk that would allow fortunes to slip from their fingers for the good of all. Ultimately it comes back but people don't see it that way.

I don't understand how you think trickle down economics works when the irrefutable evidence that it doesn't is right in front of you.

We've been waiting for it to trickle down for a long time and the opposite is happening. When do you think it's going to trickle down?
