No, they would pay for travel and lodging of course but it's a total shithole and he'd be gone for 2-3 months. That's really hard to do. My ex did it and he cried he was so miserable.
in good news I have an interview this weekend with a different tech-repair/support company, that will have more pay than the one I was let go from, doesn't deal with sales at all, and gives me more hours and freedom of scheduling. Kick ass
with my old job, working the most they could give me, I'd have about $250 left over each month after things like bills, insurance, savings, food, car, etc. With this new job I'm looking at about $600 left over for only working 6 more hours per week, not to mention full-time benefits like medical coverage. I'm pretty stoked.
Can't let it get to my head too much though because I still gotta do some tests to show I know how to use command prompt and the difference between a router and a modem. Oh and probably the same "what do you do if you find Child Pornography on a client's machine?" in which case the answer is always call the fucking police
I remember last time an employeer was asking a group of us that question some kid answered all proper "delete the files and return the machine to the client"
like what the fuck how do you even think that's a good idea
Getting back into a little music composition to help my old college roommate with his game soundtrack. First time I've really bothered with all this since doing my own senior project. It's going well so far though, I'd like to think I'm slowly getting better at production.
That has been a disproportionately large chunk of what's been playing in my car on the way to and from work recently, so I guarantee there's gonna be at least a little influence. Maybe it's arrogant, but I think the reason Toby's music appeals to me as much as it does is because a lot of it reminds me of what I write, albeit a bit better done all around.
